Reviews

. It was handy to the freeway and also close to a friend with whom I was having dinner. While it certainly wasn’t the nicest hotel at which I’ve stayed, it was fine for me for that night.a place to sleep for the night and shower in the morning before continuing on a long driving trip...Fine for What I Needed This hotel was quite adequate for what I needed.

. We’ll be staying there again. Our room was clean and had an arcadia door that opened directly outside to where our car was parked.Very nice stay Complimentary cookies and coffee/hot chocolate, very nice breakfast the next day, friendly staff that directed us to an inexpensive and fun place to eat dinner.

Needs renovating Found a tick in the bathtub and the toilet leaked, I asked to get comped but no was the answer.

all wonderfully fun for my two toddlers!.. Boise Zoo, Science Works Museum, Old Boise Penetentiary, a walk downtown to eat in an outdoor cafe, finding interesting leaves on the greenbelt. Great indoor pool, spa and workout room! I was very impressed with the quality of this hotel and its rates where the best! Bring some food to take to one of the many wonderful parks. They had the BEST free breakfast I think I’ve ever gotten, free cookies, cappaccinos, and popcorn all day. It was close to downtown and convienient for getting onto I-84. Including eary check in and late check out to work around nap time! This hotel is up against the greenbelt trail which my kids enjoyed walking along and stopping along the river. I was traveling alone with two toddlers, and they made every effort to accomadate my needs. The staff was super helpful and friendly.Very Satisfied! We had a great time at this hotel.

. This hotel met all of our needs. Continental breakfast was great, so we could get out on the road. Some friends and i took a quick trip to Boise to see a concert.Quick trip.

. Staff was nice.Clean and cheap Hotel was clean and cheap.

A good deal!. Decent coffee and plenty of baked stuff too. They have those cool wafflemakers with fresh batter, and pre-packaged microwave omelettes, if you can deal with those. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Definitely take advantage of the breakfast -- it’s more than just the weak continental breakfast you get at other places. Everyone was very friendly, and the price was right. There’s a biking/walking path, trees and benches at a comfortable distance from one’s room, but providing a nice view -- ask for a river-facing room. They do mean Riverside! This Shilo Inn was clean and serviceable, and they aren’t kidding about the "Riverside" part of their name -- the hotel backs up to a public greenspace on the banks of the river.

. Very clean for an older hotel. Service was exceptional. Conveniently located.Good price.

. Overall nice stay. Pool was great (we had it to ourselves). Decent breakfasts.Nice stay, GREAT price! Day manager was very helpful and nice.

Travelers tip on dining Joe’s Crab Shack is a block away. Breakfast was good. The staff were very good and helpful. We had a great balcony overlooking the Boise river, and green belt.Great place on the river Shilo Riverside was a very enjoyable hotel.

.Good hotel for the monies Weak, weak, coffee.

. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Check out the riverwalk - you’ll like it. I really felt at home in the Shilo. it has a wonderful breakfast room and the staff members were friendly and helpful.Nice hotel, nice staff The Shilo is a pleasant hotel with very nice rooms and it is right on the riverwalk.

.Would go back Hotel was easy to access, room was comfortable and staff was friendly.

Great service. Nice place to stay.Nice place to stay Older motel on the green belt and Boise River.

We will be back for sure!. It is an older hotel but the beds and rooms are clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast offers a good variety and over all this is just a nice place. The service cannot be beat, polite and prompt!! My kids LOVE the pool and the snacks in the lobby.Great Service!! This is a great and inexpensive place to stay.

Great cookies!. Be sure to ask for rooms on that side! Nice people. Got switched to a new one with a nice view of the river on the other side of the building.Nice view on river side of motel We had an ant problem in our first room.

Travelers tip on saving a few bucks none. Adequate lodging.Adequate, money saver Nice river walk in the back of the hotel.

. Not out of the way from anything. Travelers tip on local attractions It was close to all things going on in the city of Boise.Would definitely stay there again, very nice! Our stay was wonderful! Very clean, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, comfortable, quiet, very refreshing.

. A good, cheap place to stay. Getting a room on the second floor and standing on the balcony looking at the greenbelt is great. While it’s not a four star hotel, I love this place. One of my favorites in Bosie.

. If we hadn’t been dead tired from 9 hours of driving, we would have walked out the door. I would NOT stay here again. Yuck. The air conditioning unit was so loud we couldn’t sleep and the bathroom was tiny, dingy, and in need of updating. The room was not clean and had a sort of horror film feel to it.Dirty, loud, cramped.

Good location by the River Walk Good location by the River Walk, nice walk to downtown.

Whenever I pass through Boise I know where to stay! Friendly and fast service morning noon and night! Right off the freeway, very accessable.

. Loaction is close to river bank which is good for morning walking. Free transportation is very convinent.Free transportation to airport is a very good service.

. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Boise area. This hotel was most comfortable, clean, the people were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.Stay here, you’ll be happy! We don’t often stay in hotels as we are fulltime rver’s.

. I’d stay again in a heart beat! Travelers tip GO BSU! Visit the Boise State Campus and see the blue turf and hall of fame. The pool and hot tub were great with a view of the green belt and Boise River. Will use again Great staff and the breakfast was really good with lots of choices! Location is great for moving around Boise easily.
