Fine for What I NeededThis hotel was quite adequate for what I needed...a place to sleep for the night and shower in the morning before continuing on a long driving trip. While it certainly wasnt the nicest hotel at which Ive stayed, it was fine for me for that night. It was handy to the freeway and also close to a friend with whom I was having dinner.Rating:5
Very nice stayComplimentary cookies and coffee/hot chocolate, very nice breakfast the next day, friendly staff that directed us to an inexpensive and fun place to eat dinner. Our room was clean and had an arcadia door that opened directly outside to where our car was parked. Well be staying there again.Rating:2
needs renovatingFound a tick in the bathtub and the toilet leaked, I asked to get comped but no was the answerRating:5
Very Satisfied! We had a great time at this hotel. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I was traveling alone with two toddlers, and they made every effort to accomadate my needs. Including eary check in and late check out to work around nap time! This hotel is up against the greenbelt trail which my kids enjoyed walking along and stopping along the river. It was close to downtown and convienient for getting onto I-84. They had the BEST free breakfast I think Ive ever gotten, free cookies, cappaccinos, and popcorn all day. Great indoor pool, spa and workout room! I was very impressed with the quality of this hotel and its rates where the best! Bring some food to take to one of the many wonderful parks. Boise Zoo, Science Works Museum, Old Boise Penetentiary, a walk downtown to eat in an outdoor cafe, finding interesting leaves on the greenbelt.. all wonderfully fun for my two toddlers!Rating:5
Quick trip. Some friends and i took a quick trip to Boise to see a concert. Continental breakfast was great, so we could get out on the road. This hotel met all of our needs.Rating:4
Clean and cheapHotel was clean and cheap. Staff was nice.Rating:4
They do mean Riverside! This Shilo Inn was clean and serviceable, and they arent kidding about the "Riverside" part of their name -- the hotel backs up to a public greenspace on the banks of the river. Theres a biking/walking path, trees and benches at a comfortable distance from ones room, but providing a nice view -- ask for a river-facing room. Everyone was very friendly, and the price was right.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayDefinitely take advantage of the breakfast -- its more than just the weak continental breakfast you get at other places. They have those cool wafflemakers with fresh batter, and pre-packaged microwave omelettes, if you can deal with those. Decent coffee and plenty of baked stuff too. A good deal!Rating:4
Good price. Conveniently located.Service was exceptional. Very clean for an older hotel.Rating:4

Great Service!!This is a great and inexpensive place to stay. The service cannot be beat, polite and prompt!! My kids LOVE the pool and the snacks in the lobby. The continental breakfast offers a good variety and over all this is just a nice place. It is an older hotel but the beds and rooms are clean and comfortable. We will be back for sure!Rating:4
Nice view on river side of motelWe had an ant problem in our first room. Got switched to a new one with a nice view of the river on the other side of the building. Be sure to ask for rooms on that side! Nice people. Great cookies!Rating:3

One of my favorites in Bosie. While its not a four star hotel, I love this place. Getting a room on the second floor and standing on the balcony looking at the greenbelt is great. A good, cheap place to stay.Rating:1
Dirty, loud, cramped. The room was not clean and had a sort of horror film feel to it. The air conditioning unit was so loud we couldnt sleep and the bathroom was tiny, dingy, and in need of updating. Yuck. I would NOT stay here again. If we hadnt been dead tired from 9 hours of driving, we would have walked out the door.Rating:4
Good location by the River WalkGood location by the River Walk, nice walk to downtownRating:5
