Reviews

. I will stay there again. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, It had every thing we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information. Shopping also near by. Good places to eat in the area and the motel gives you 10% discounts at some nice restarunts in the area. The Hotel is in a nice location in the Kansas City area.Nice, Quiet, Clean, Comfortable and affordable.

. By far the best price in the area, and it is what it is. It’s fairly new, just basic lodging. You get what you pay for If you’re okay with a basic room, with next to no amenities, this is a good enough place to stay.

Stay in Lenexa Nice place to stay for the price.

. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the small size of the continental breakfast, but it got the job done. Nice rooms and bathrooms. So relaxing Very friendly service! Nice and quiet atmosphere.

. The Oak Park Mall is also very close by, about a 5 minute drive. Travelers tip on shopping There’s a Kohl’s right around the corner! That was a nice surprise. Only drawback is the very small breakfast area; it only has 3 tables and not a big selection of food. Just like any Super 8, it’s perfect for travel and it’s affordable. Room was fairly clean and comfortable.Good place for your money Motel was easy to find.

.I recommend this hotel for budget customers. It is near to all the places that I were to visit and it also was very convenient . But overall its a good hotel to stay.Good hotel at the price paid, and I would like to stay there again at the same price It would have been better If the breakfast area is little bigger.

. Overall I would give this hotel a D. I had a fax sent to me, and their fax machine was in need of ink, so the paper was illegible, and useless for the meeting I was attending that day. Furniture looked older and worn. Brrr! The room itself was very tired. I also folded the blanket and bedspread in half so it was doubled over my body. Thank God the room eventually warmed up enough in the middle of the night to peel off the layers. When I arrived in the room, it was absolutely freezing! I turned on the heat, full blast (it worked fine) but actually considered going to bed with all my clothes on, it was so cold! I instead opted to wear my shorts, long sleeve shirt and sweater.Lenexa Super 8 I was unhappy with my stay at this hotel.

I’ll be there one more time!! Outstanding Hotel with a good price!.

Good for the money!!. If I was staying for several days, probably would upgrade to a little pricier motel. Clean, hallways reminded me of a college dorm. For the price, it is just fine.Great for the price! Spent just one night while attending Big 12 football Champ game.

. They were very friendly and provided additional assistance and comfort for traveling with our infant son.Great hotel for the price We arrived very late and the hotel staff was already expecting us.

. Beds were comfortable, we slept like babies! Thanks so much! Travelers tip on local attractions Easy highway on to KC Renaissance Fest, the track, whereever in KC you could want to go. This hotel was perfect! Lobby was a bit smoky smelling but rooms (ours was non-smoking) were immaculate!! We were on first floor, right at car level, but it was quiet. Stayed the night before so we could get an early start.Really nice room and great price! We wanted to come up for Renfest in KC.

. No complaints. Nothing spectacular, was ok.Good Hotel was nothing special, but I felt safe all night, the bed was ok, our car parked out front was ok, and everything was just ok.

. I will stay there again when I am in Kansas City. The hotel was nice - the people were GREAT.Would stay there again - and will tell others about it.

. Other than that though, a fine place to stay. Had parking problems a couple of nights because of semis/trucks taking up several spots. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Not bad Comfortable, no-frills, inexpensive place to stay with easy access to the highway.

. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.Good hotel for the price.

.again, she was on HOLD!!! I will NEVER go to ANY Super 8 again.. When I complained, I was told, "the tea is free and at the breakfast bar" The same person "helped" me check out by making me wait 10 minutes while she was on the phone and most of that SHE was on HOLD! I said, look I just want to check out, do I just give you the key? (the room specifically says to return the key on your way out) and she kept telling me to hold on. I even had a MOLDY tea bag left by the coffee pot. Will NOT go back The hotel smelled so bad I had to wash my clean clothes when I got home! Our room was not cleaned, there was toothpast left on the sink from the last tennants.

. We were very happy with our stay. Clean, fast service, comfortable.Satisfied This location was what you would expect from super 8.

. Close to dining and shopping.Very Average Saving a few bucks.

. Also, staff was very polite at checkin. I will stay next time. This place offers a nice value, no perks, cheap and clean.Nice for the Price Overland Park is terribly overpriced for hotels.

. Couldn’t ask for more for my buck. Nothing fancy, but a well lit parking lot in a safe part of town with friendly service and clean rooms.Perfect Pit Stop I stopped for the night with my daughter on a trip from WI to OKC, and it was just what we needed.

. Will not stay at Super 8 again. Since my son lives there we will find some other place to stay next time. There were several things going on in the area and there were not any options so we stayed. They did not make any offer to correct the problem nor did they make any offers to decrease the amounts. They did not offer to reimburse the difference. I paid through expedia and they gave us a queen size unit and not a king. Not Pleased We did not get the type of room that had been requested and paid for.

. I would recommend this motel for those seeking a cheaper alternative. For a motel, it was very clean and the room was also comfortable. Extremely helpful with near by stores and restaurants.Overall good for the price The employee’s were nice and welcoming.

. Even though I was offered a room on a lower floor, all three floors require use of stairs, so I would not recommend this to those who need elevators. Travelers tip My one warning to folks is this hotel does not have an elevator. Otherwise, my next trip to the region, I will not hesisitate to stay at this hotel again. The breakfast fare wasn’t "great!", but it was more than I’ve been offered at some places, and there was good cold milk available, so all in all, I was satisfied with the value I received for my money. I especially appreciated having the safe in my room under my control since I’m not one to trust my things at the front desk. The room was clean and in good repair, the parking lot environment felt safer, the staff responded quickly and helpfully to my questions, I was put in a room that was just the right size for a single person. My stay here was FAR BETTER than the one hotel across the street that I stayed at before with exterior room access.Better than the competitor I stayed at last time I chose to stay at this hotel because it was an area I was familiar with from a previous trip to the region, and because I wanted a reasonable value hotel that had indoor corridors and access to the rooms.

. Would go back again for a stay. Check and out went smoothly. I did have a cup of tea. Rolls are out also. and cereal is not on my menu. Would like to have been able to eat more off the breakfast noook but there was no fruit.Stay @ Super 8 Hotel was good for the eving that we stayed.

. I guess you get what you paid for but I just liked it to have been more pleasant.. LOL... Be sure to sit at the table to get the reception not at the desk. Well I finally figured it out. Oh yeah, and for a day we called to get help with the internet but they couldnt help us. And when you have a clean freak it’s horrible. Well, it just wasnt the best. When we went to tell the front desk she got an attitude and said that’s how we do doubles, we always turn it down. Then, when we went into our room, it looked as though someone had been laying in the bed. First off, when we arrived the lady was ok at checkin. It was sleepable, that’s about the extent I would go...Will never go back.
