. It is a nice place for families or business traveler. Estes was all booked and this was an economical, fairly convenient alternative to MUCH higher priced locales in the area. We were visiting Estes and RMP over July 4 weekend. Location is a little isolated, but would not deter me from staying again. . We just needed a place to sleep, with our dog, that permitted smoking in the room. Rooms have the basics, no frills. Ask for a room on the west side, away from the traffic.Rare hotel that allows pets and smoking The only downside to this motel is the semi-truck parking and traffic adjacent to the motel property.

. Could not change the room because it was book solid due to the University Graduation. The third room was a smoking room and the smoke smell was horrible. The rooms were all supposed to be non-smoking. It was difficult to get the late registration for that room as well. We had people coming in at different times for a graduation and we could not get the third room on the same floor with us. The beds were very uncomfortable.Uncomfortable beds but otherwise alright The stay was alright.

Travelers tip on local attractions New Belgium Brewery visit, in town 50 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park Colorado State University. I would stay there again. Only drawbacks, street in front has big, and I mean big potholes and very slow drain in bathtub. Across the street from a Denny’s. (Brought my daughter to start college at CSU).Good deal for the money Clean, used spa; has washer and dryer; safe in room; right off interstate to Denver; out of the way of college’s welcome week traffic congestion.
