. Our favotite place to eat out was the Doral Ale House, great food, great service, great prices and just a five min drive down the road. Can’t finish your meal when eating out, no problem, have them wrap it up and reheat it in the microwave back in your hotel room. GO, relax, enjoy, you won’t be disappointed, you will be extremely & unexpectedly pleased/suprised! Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Stop at local market and stock up on some groceries, the Blue has full sized Kitchen Aid fridges and microwaves, as well as an electric cooktop and rooms are stocked with pots,pans, utencils, plates etc. Would definetly go back or to any other of their hotels they have all over the world! It was truly a hassle-free & pleasant stay, not 1 complaint other then 40 minute wait & still no massage at the spa. POOL: Great pool & the most outragous (spellcheck) comfy pool beds, & complementry poolside lemonade. Guards greet with smile & are pleasant. GREAT Security: Can’t get in unless your a registered guest. Complained to front desk, result, they sent me fruit platter. Put on comfy robe & went to relaxation area, AFTER waiting 40 minutes got fed up & left. Was told they’re running behind, would I mind waiting a few minutes. SPA: Went 4 massage @ 5:00PM. I wanted fried calamari & they didn’t have, maybe thats why. Hubby said cheeseburger was one of the best, I was not crazy about chick skewers. Hotel Restaruant: Decided not to go back, I had chick skewers, hubby had cheeseburger. Food & shopping a 5 min drive, all big chains & food places you’d want. LOCATION: Anything of interest is only a 15 min drive. Bathroom is to die 4, jacuzzi tub, sep toilet, huge shower w/best shower head! Rooms exactly as PICTURED, no mis-represntations! SERVICE: didn’t order rm service but was sent fruit platter due to mix up at spa, person who brought platter was pleasant & polite. Not a typical hotel room, stayed in a 1 room but felt like 3, kit, bdrm, living, & huge balcony....Did not want to go home.

I LOVED IT!. The kitchen was beautiful and everything was near the hotel. I enjoyed the size of the room.Best Hotel The Blue is a great hotel.

Go thru a few traffic lights and you will find everything you need;grocery stores,fine dining,gas stations,etc.ENJOY Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Go out of the hotel and turn right.The bathrooms are not to be believed.Very romantic setting with views of the golf course,and the rooms are done in a very modern’’less is more’’ style.We did not take advantage of any of the hotels ammenities because of time restraints,however;the room and the staff were fantastic.My girlfriend said it was the nicest hotel she had ever stayed at.The whole experience was wonderful.6 star hotel Believe everything you have read.

. The high ceiling of the rooms gives an extra feeling of comfortability, together with the very modern furniture, equipment and decor. Still in a quiet neighbourhood and thereby very tranquil at night. The hotel is very centrally located both for business and shopping.Excellent room comfortability and very practical location.

You have all the discount stores (Walmart, 99 cent store) and a grocery store within a five minute drive. That was a sure PLUS in my book! The swimming pool area is to die for!! We had a fabulous time and will definitely return!! Travelers tip on shopping This hotel is literally off of a great shopping strip. I really liked the fact that security was tight at the entry- this ensures that only people that are booked at this hotel will be on the grounds. The rooms are very modern and feel like home away from home. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful.Very Impressed This hotel by far exceeded my expectations.

.Beautiful Room The room was beautiful! We had a great view of the golf course and the staff were so attentive! The hotel is not close to anything in particular so if you want to see more of Miami, renting a car will be your best bet--the taxi fare will cost you plenty.

You can use this Hotel with young children, there are shops around and you can prepare the food in the kitchen in the room. The kitchen in the room makes it possible to save time and enjoy relaxing evening eating "at home" We traveled with our young child, who also enjoyed his stay : walking in the room, the garden and by the swimming pool.Quiet, comfortable, modern, large, great service We had a great time at The Blue, rooms are large, comfortable, modern and well equiped.

There is a very interesting story behind it (they say one man built it alone) and it was just interesting to see. Travelers tip on local attractions It is a little bit of a drive but try to visit the Coral Castle. I was not a big fan of the bed I thought that it was too soft yet too hard at the same time, I know weird but other than that we had a great experience. I would stay here again if we were in the Miami area. We had a little trouble with internet connection and they fixed the problem very quickly. The rooms are large very quiet and relaxing. The bathrooms very large. The room was very clean. maybe they have been reading the reviews. I had read in precious reviews that the staff was not helpful or rude, but they were wonderful to us.Our post Cruise hotel Nice place to stay the staff was very friendly.

. But they managed to etch out a nice tranquil setting in all the chaos, so I barely noticed. The only down side was that it’s kind of in an industrial area. Didn’t have time to use the golf course, pool, or spa -- but would have loved to! Convience wise, it only took us 20 mintues to get to South Beach from the hotel. My family stayed at a hotel on South Beach, paid triple the price, and the room was a quarter of the size! The room at "The Blue" was large and wonderfully decorated. It was an unbeatable price for the value. I searched for weeks before I came accross "The Blue".What a bargin for Miami! I had to go to Miami for my cousin’s wedding on South Beach in February--the high season.

. Restaurant food is quite good and they have a chef that was on Hell’s Kitchen season 3 who is very talented. The one bedroom suite is so much nicer than golf view suite it’s worth the difference in price. The rooms are designed for cooking and you have a big refrigerator. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks There is a publix a mile or two away for groceries. Also the pool is beautiful and the view from the room is not bad if on 2nd floor, but overall closer to a 3 star place than 4 stars. We encountered numerous problems from being locked in our room to an unwelcome visitor in the night, but I will say that the staff was very friendly and they definitely do care about you as the manager did many nice things for us to make up for the problems we had. The location is only so so and the rooms are basically condo units with a drab and unappealing outside entrance to each building.Not a 4 Star Resort We cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high couture place to stay.

Excellent Travelers tip on dining Lots of places to eat in miami, have alot of shopping and resturants about a few miles from the hotel, 3 min drive, you can go to south beach , hotel very close to airport also. Good for families. Will definetley stay there again. Located on doral golf course next to doral club house area. Staff was very professional.The blue can’t wait to go back Very nice hotel , very clean and modern ,had a mini kitchen lots of closet space and very large room.

A little off the beaten path for miami but a great room with good food in the resturant.The blue I had an entire apartment, not a room-fantastic.

. The room was beautiful though.) So we had 2 VERY hard full-size beds instead of 1 king bed. Of course the bed type couldn’t be guaranteed (I don’t know why because the hotel was guaranteed to be paid.Bed as hard as a rock Supposed to have a king size bed.
