. I would stay here again for sure the next time Im in Boston. The turn down service was a nice touch and made me feel welcome and very comfortable. We walked to a Red Sox game and the bus line and subway station is one block away. The Eliot is an adorable hotel - very quiet, which was surprising since it is located on a busy street - great size rooms - and in the perfect location for a stay in Boston. My husband and I were celebrating our 10th anniversary so the description appealed to me. I found the Eliot listed in a travel book as a great place to stay for a romantic getaway. Will stay here again
I had never been to Boston and therefore had no idea where to stay.
. A lot of restaurant options and coffee shops nearby. This was surprising for such a nice hotel and award winning restaurant. The coffee tasted weak / watered down. The buffet breakfast offered for $20 ($10 with a coupon) was terrible (granny smith apples, bagels but no toaster, pedestrian cereal and stiff croissants). Room was very noisy. Helpful staff. Nicely decorated rooms.Good but not great
Good location.

Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
Boston is a wonderfull city, very nice shops, great restaurants in all kind of prices, lots of activities, young and good looking people, must visit Harvard and MIT, Newberry St, Quincy Market. We were staying at suite 201.
The hotel is marvelous, very good service and great location, my room was very confortable, but the only thing i did not like, is that the bathroom is too small, you have very nice suites with a lot of room, but a cheap bathroom.......Excellent, only one but.
.Great boutique hotel
Perfect location, European atmosphere, quality service

Close to so much in Boston.
Loved this hotel!. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night! Great location - right around the corner from Newbury Street. We had a one bedroom suite which was lovely and very comfortable. Everyone on the staff was friendly, polite and very helpful.Would definitely stay here again
The Eliot Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Boston.
. It was just too much. But the party in the next room went on till 3:30 AM.Party in Next room till 3:3- AM
Everything was very good.
. Would stay there again.Stayed in one of the suites, It was clean & comfortable. The Eliot Suite Hotel
Great location -- few blocks from Fenway Park.
. We would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, Fenway, and University of Boston.A good experience
Great location.

Travelers tip on local attractions
We started our trip in Boston with walking through The Freedom Trail all along during the first day, which was marvelous and most beneficial for orientating in the city. The location of the hotel was fine for sightseers.Excellent hotel
I travelled in Boston with my husband and son, and we enjoyed very much the journey with accomodation at the Eliot Suite Hotel.
.Fantastic
Big suites, great location and service.
Definitely will stay again and will recommend to others!. Very charming.Hotel Eliot
Loved it! Room very spacious and comfortable.
. was also great. The location in Back Bay, a couple of blocks from Kenmore Square and a block from Newbury St. The sofa bed was a great option for the teenager. The hotel had the pack nplay all set up for us and a bath set - toys and wash - for the infant.Great boutique hotel for families!
We found this hotel very comfortable and attentive to our needs as a family travelling with a 1 year old and our 16 yr old niece.
.
The service was excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable.Great service.
Cant wait to go back
Cant wait to go back.
. We have take out one night and had to throw the entire meal away.
Travelers tip on dining
Dont eat at the burger place across the street.despite my request to housekeeping) and 2) there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom almost as if it were coming from above (we were on the bottom floor)...there were m&ms all over the floor (the entire time...1) my room was not vacuumed.... 2 more complaints. The staff was able to move us.and you could smell the smoke from the hallway.... We checked into a room which claimed to be non-smoking. This hotel is not what Id consider a full service hotel but much more like a Boutique Hotel.Outstanding Staff
The staff at this hotel (and in the restaurants) could not have been nicer or more helpful.
. Prudential Centre, easy walking distance has every shop and food imaginable. I would take the history tour unless you really want to get your feet wet. Perfect location to see everything
Travelers tip on local attractions
The DUCK tour and the Walking History tour are largely redundant. Location is easy walking distance to Fenway, Charles River, Commons and many downtown restaurants and shops. Housekeeping was wonderful. I found the suites the perfect choice with two twin beds and the sofabed.
Spent 5 nights at the Eliot with my two older kids over the 4th of July holiday...Central to everything.
. Room was a suite and very comfortable.Outstanding!!
Eliot Suite was great!! Very friendly and helpful staff, good location to most things, a bit far from downtown but really close to subway, great restaurants and good shopping.
. The bed was extemely comfortable and I would definately stay at The Eliot again.Very Impressed
It was a beautiful hotel, short walk to Fenway, and several attractions.
. Would recommend. The "living room" was very nice, staff was very courteous and the location to Fenway Park was good. The bed was a double at most but comfy.Good location to Fenway Park
The room was nice and clean however the bathroom was very small and the hair dryer was very outdated and I didnt feel it was safe.
. It is a also just a $10 cab ride from anywhere in the city.
Travelers tip on local attractions
The Eliot is located just a block away from Newbury Street and there are plenty of excellent places to eat, within walking distance. We have visited a number of hotels in Boston, over the years, but the Eliot is now the ONLY hotel we will call home when we are in the city.First Class!
Friendly staff and all the comforts you would want.
. and find a cheaper place for breakfast. Ave. or down Mass. You can walk down Newbury St. Its expensive.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
Dont bother with breakfast in the hotel. The only negative was that valet parking was $36 dollars a day and added $72 to our bill., which is nice to walk down, and you can get something to eat which is cheaper than the restaurant in the hotel. Also, right across the street is the lovely Newbury St. It is right across the street from the Hines Auditorium stop on the T. The location is great for anywhere you want to go in Boston too. They even left a bag of jelly beans for us. There was a foyer, bathroom and wet bar with mini-bar area. The pull-out couch in the living room area was super comfortable. The room was really 2 rooms, a bedroom with a king bed and a living room. Most comfortable bed ever
I have stayed at Four seasons and Ritz Carltons, as well as other luxury hotels (Shutters and Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica) and this was by far the most comfortable bed ever.
.
This is really not a "kid" oriented hotel. One of Bostons signature restaurants is in the building.European style
Well located small hotel with high level of personal service.
.other then the outside view, this is a hotel i will stay at again...we were on the first floor and didnt have a good view though, all we saw was the back alley. We walked in and they upgraded us to the deluxe suite right away, the lobby was so nice, and so were the staff, the room was great...Beautiful Hotel
This was an amazing hotel, everything from the service to the room.
Very Comfortable Property
I would definitely go Back to The Eliot when visiting Boston in the future.
. T stop one block away.

This is very close to Newbury Street where there are many resturants and shopping. The suites have a bedroom, living area and a bar area. It is an older hotel with lots of character, with great service and a great location. This is the best place we have stayed.Great hotel
We stay in Boston about 3 to 4 times a year.
