. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time and felt pampered by our stay. The room was cozy and nicely maintained with great towels! The food was amazing at the hotel restaurant and I would recommend a meal there. They offer a shuttle service that is very helpful if needed. Great service. The hotel staff was helpful, nice, and accomodating. It was also very close to other nice restaurants and shopping within two minutes of the hotel. It was within walking distance of the Plaza and shopping (about 5-10 min walk) and it was very relaxing. We chose it based on the good reviews.Fantastic stay
My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon at the Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe and it was a great experience.
I would definitely recommend!.A very pleasant stay
The hotel is pretty, convenient, and clean.
. The Cowgirl restaurant was one of our favorites for a casual meal and great chili. You cant miss with this one!!!

The Spa at the Hacienda was super I had a great massage and my friend had a fantastic pedicure. If I am every in Santa Fe again this is the only place I would stay. Light breakfast and an evening reception were served only to Hacienda guests in a lovely upstairs suite. There is local art everywhere which is a great touch. Will return
The hotel was very lovely and comfortable.
. all at reduced prices because I mastered the art of "haggling".. I returned home with some very unique pieces. It is worth comparing prices before purchasing.

Santa Fe is full of jewelry stores, and local artists sell their pieces around the plaza. (Coyote Cafe, Anasazi, the Old House). Concierge table in lobby has copies of restaurant menus in the area as well as personal recommendations which all proved to be wonderful choices. Plenty of free parking, and also a shuttle van available to downtown area (a few blocks away- very convenient especially in the evening when parking around the Plaza can be challenging.Terrific choice
Beautiful native American decor; pleasant, accommodating staff.
. Nice horses and guides. Fabulous private horseback ride with Broken Saddle Riding in Cerrillos. Beautiful but get there early for a seat.

Have a sunset drink on the upstairs deck at La Fonda. Dont think that Hacienda is true luxury but is ok. The main hotel is just 60 feet away and the restaurant there is lovely, I just sat there on the patio and had free iced tea one afternoon. It does have a nice sun deck on the roof with a hot tub. The spa was a over priced: The worst massage Ive ever had and the pedicure was a joke. The free purple taxi into town was nice. The breakfast room is lovely but the food nothing special. The Hacienda is just a separate building with a locking front door and the "butler" was not there in the empty reception area in the evening and all night. It was attractive but the bathroom had only a smallish shower. Not really the ultimate
We had a bottom floor double in the Hacienda.
. Their restaurant "The Amaya" is five star! Hotel and restaurant staff were extremely cordial and helpful. I definitely will stay there on future visits and will recommend it to friends.
My visit to the Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe met and ecxeeded my expectations based on my previous visit.A precious gem in Santa Fe.
. Good location.Nice place in Santa Fe
This hotel was very nice and we could walk to the plaza in less than 10 minutes.
. Also, this space is open to the public. There are onsite dining facilities that offer many of the items on the breakfast bar.

Plan to take advantage of the breaksfast bar that is included in the accommodations. The online photos provide only a glimpse of what this property has to offer. It is native owned, beautifully appointed, and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous.
This is a wonderful hotel.Beautiful native owned property.
. Best Spa: 10,000 Waves. Best hiking: Tsankawi Trail. Tapas at El Farol enjoyable. Geronimo the most disappointing. Wow.
Travelers tip on dining
Cafe OKeefe provided best dining experience we had. Special attention by staff in the Hacienda lounge also appreciated.hotel was full when we stayed, never heard other room noise, or street noise... Very quiet too.room to spread out, husband could watch tv in one room while I had quiet time in the other...Hacienda Suites Provide Nice Elbow Room!
The size of the suites was pleasant.
. A wonderful stay; highly recommended. This changed 100% for the better the following morning, indicating the staff responded quickly - and well - to the complaints registered. The only drawback was breakfast one morning, which was poorly staffed and maintained. The staff go out of their way to be helpful, and the accomodations wee well above average.Nice experience
This was our first trip to the Southwest, and the Hacienda at the Hotel Santa Fe provided an ideal introduction.
dont miss!!!..... is farmers market.m/. Also Sat a.

Right across the street there is a train to and from Albequerque. If you eat at the hotel restaraunt the continental is free and you can order ANYTHING on the menu for $4 !!!!! It is the only hotel owned by the Natives and is wonderful. Continental breakfast was included on 6th floor beautiful view. Made sure you had water, tea, and coffee. We had a butler, who would get you things you requested. Cool. This time we stayed at the Haciendas.Another great time
We have stayed at this property before.
. Comfortable, clean, great location. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon snack, and daily NY Times.Wonderful!
Great atmosphere.
. Excellent coffee and breakfast breads or a good sandwich on the go are great for an alternative to the larger menu at the hotel.

Hotel Santa Fe and The Hacienda at Hotel Santa Fe is across the steet from Sage Bakehouse. Great experience. Live Native flute music on the weekends is perfect in front of the kiva fireplace. Food is good; the staff also knows great restaurants nearby to recommend. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Plaza, saving the hassle of parking. We like the Native American decor and atmosphere throughout, and the new spa is fabulous. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, nicely appointed. Hospitality is the tadition of the Picuris tribe, which owns the hotel, and is evident in the first rate staff and service. We have stayed both in the hotel and in The Hacienda, the upscale hotel on the same property.Favorite Winter Retreat
We discovered Hotel Santa Fe several years ago on our first winter visit to Santa Fe, and we stay there every time we go.
. I didnt use my rent a car the five days I was there.

This hotel is located just a short walk from the center of town. Somewhat pricey overall but still worth it. Complimentary breakfast basic but convenient. Personal butler service nice touch. Upstairs gym very good. Excellent room, well furnished, upscale, excellent service. Classic Adobe style.A top hotel in Santa Fe
Stayed in the Hacienda portion of the hotel.

There is a interesting shops selling vintage clothing in front of the hotel.(I have a back pain, I like hard mattress. If were to use on word, the bed was too soft. I am glad to say that it is included breakfast. The hotel is not too big not too small, it is a just good size.Very nice hotel !
I felt the hotel which is a very private feeling.
I highly recommend visiting the Georgia OKeeffe Museum even if you are only in town for the day!!!.

Santa Fe is a gorgeous city with amazing views all around. Aside from our incredible meal, our first night in New Mexico was not very impressive. They neglected to mention the fabulous Zagut rated Railroad Restaurant just a stones throw from their front door. Additionally when we asked the concierge to recommend a good local restaurant they directed us to an overcrowded tacky redroofed dive directly across the street that felt more like a Mexican Ihop. The fit and finish of this hotel doesnt not warrant its 4 star treatment it commands. Even with the door closed my companion was able hear everything I did in the bathroom as if I were standing next to her.... This translates to. The bath room is so filled with marble that the accoustics were horrible. Was so uncomfortable and soft in the middle that I felt like I was in a Horror movie where the bed eats its victims. The bed itself on a scale of 1-10 I would rate as a 2. The bed sheets were starched cotton and felt like sandpaper. The light switches for the myriad of mood lighting was poorly placed. First of all, the gas light faux fireplace would not stay lit. We were in a Fireplace King Room and although the decor was nice the amenities were not. It may have been new but it was far from perfect. Lets put it to you this way. We were put in the newly built Hacienda building. We checked in with no problem and our butler (insert doorman) met us at our room with our bags. Not Worth 4 Stars
We arrived at night and had trouble actually finding it because the address did not match where the entrance was.
. Great perk when youve been walking all day. or so and pick you up from where you choose within that area. Just call when you want to leave, and someone will arrive within 10 min.

The hotel provides shuttle service to the Plaza. They felt like hospital sheets; not very soft. My only complaint was the bed sheets. The suite was spacious and comfortable.Lovely hotel
We stayed in the Hacienda.

Dont miss: The farmers market on Saturdays at the railroad Canyon Road galleries- very friendly and wonderful art Hiking- drove to Tent Rocks- beautiful!! Food: Had some great meals at: Piattro Amavi SantaCafe- lunch. Most restaurants stopped serving dinner at 9pm. One thing we found strange was the early dinner hour. Felt very safe at night. Downtown was about 1 mile away- we walked many times. Great location to walk to the railyard district. Also you had to go offsite for the exercise facilities which we did not use. The hot tub on the fifth floor was being repaired. Pool and hot tub were nice. Free shuttle to downtown was helpful although one time we had to wait for a while to be taken. Also had outside patio to eat on which was so nice. Fresh fruit, bagels, oatmeal, toast, hardboiled eggs, cereal, danish, cottage cheese, coffee, tea and juice. Evening appetizers were just fair but the breakfast selection was wonderful. Chocolates on bed at nightly turn down. Bath amenities were nice. Beautiful local decor. Room was fairly large in size although slightly dark. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and water in our room ( nice touch). Three of us stayed in a 2 double bed room.Loved it!
We arrived Friday night and our butler brought us and our luggage to our room.
. It is about 60 miles from Santa Fe.

Taos is a nice city to visit. I would definitely go back to this hotel. The restaurant serves food which was better than the plush restaurants we were recommended.- you could have a full hot breakfast. We had a continental breakfast was extremely rich and for $5. The suite we had was wonderful, with balcony and fireplace, and the service was just superb.Very dainty little hotel
The Hacienda hotel is well situated, walking distance to the downtown area, easy to access by car with plenty of parking.
. Quietly elegant with staff eager to please.Surprise in Santa Fe
This "hotel in a hotel" is a really pleasant surprise find.
. Nice attendants. And the Hacienda foyer (Floor #4) had a very heavy odor of urine - obviously indicating a plumbing problem. Much of the renovations were not complete yet including athletic facilities. Location of Hotel left a lot to be desired although the central plaza area was accessible through the use of hotel vans.Disappointed
Rooms were much smaller than appeared in the photographs.
. Nearby Railway Center (just behind and across the street from hotel) has interesting shops and restaurants.) away.

Museums and central plaza just a short walk (10 min. We will certainly go back, especially once the Spa is completed. Lounge for afternoon cocktails and continental breakfasts. Very helpful staff of Butlers. A limited number of well appointed rooms.Comfort, privacy, attention to detail
The Hacienda is a small hotel within the Hotel Santa Fe.
. Would defintely stay there again. The bulter provided with all kinds of information about the area and got us reservations at several restaurants. The room was wonderful and the service was first class. We were ten minutes from any shopping or dining and there was always the shuttle.Wonderful Room
This hotel was on the outskirts of the Santa Fe shopping district, but we did not mind the walk.
. New English cabs are on call for Hacienda guests to take one to dinner, galleries, theater; and they return to pick you up until 10 PM. Also, most of the best modern art galleries are in the Railyard gallery complex 100 yards from hotel. Hotel is across the street from the new international art showcase, SITE Santa Fe. Rerouting of traffic is a minor and temporary inconvenience. The area has lots of redevelopment ongoing, but noise was at a minimum.Santa Fe Hotel within a Hotel
The private, staffed lounge has attentive service, a nice patio and great sunset views.
Too bad I wasnt there to see her also!.
Travelers tip
My husband thinks he even saw Natalie Portman coming into the hotel when we were checking out. Great way to meet other guests. The free continental breakfast was nice every morning, plenty to choose from and the butler service in the evening for cocktails was nice. There is a great, inviting wood burning fireplace in the Lounge. The gas fireplace was nice although I was hoping for a wood burning one. The room was very pretty and the bed was really nice! Loved the shower! There were even two TVs, one in the bedroom and another in the living area.Wonderful Stay!
My husband and I stayed at the Hacienda the weekend before Thanksgiving 2007 and found the hotel to be very comfortable.
