Las Vegas best kept secretWe drove up and from the valet attendent till we checked out we had a blast. great room with pillow top beds, great buffet, and good strong drinks. We will be back!Rating:5
Went to Vegas for my daughters softball tournamentEverything was great. Used valet parking for convenience. Beds were comfortable. The room was plenty spacious and very clean. Ordered room service for breakfast and it was very prompt. Good food. Loved the chocolate covered strawberries at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate store. Second time we have stayed for a softball tournament. Great hotel off the strip but close enough to visit the strip easily.Rating:4
Orleans staypleasant stay, they sent cleaners back to clean when we forgot to remove do not disturb" sign. Pleasant staff. extra covered parking by Arena
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksits a couple of blocks off the strip. You can do your owm laundry at the Terribles laundromat at Flamingo and Lindell also one at Flamingo & South Jones.Rating:4
Had a great time! The Orleans is a bit away from the strip, but it has everything you would need either inside the resort itself or near-by. Very clean rooms and staff that went above and beyond the call of duty.Rating:4
Nice!Great place to stay , plenty of places to dine, nice rooms.Rating:5
Pleasantly surprised.....My husband & I stayed at the Orleans the last week of Sept. 09. We knew it was a hotel off the strip and we werent expecting the standards of the hotel to be up to par to the hotels on the strip; our expectations werent high. Needless to say we were both pleasantly surprised. The hotel is lovely & their staff is great & very helpful. We loved the restaurants within the hotel. The hotel rooms are much larger than most hotel rooms; our king size bed was fabulous & the room was squeaky clean. The hotel is not close to the strip but they have a shuttle service which now drops you off at the Tropicana vs. Bills Gambling Hall; the last shuttle run is 12:30 pm. So if you want to be close to the strip dont stay at The Orleans. If that doesnt bother you then I highly recommend staying at this hotel.Rating:5
GreatEverything was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was good. We enjoyed our stay. My parents stay at the Orleans all the time and they love it. One of their favorite spaces to stay.Rating:4
Nice hotel, but shows its ageThe Orleans is nice hotel, but has not been maintained as well as it could have been. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable, however the carpeting in my room had stains. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would stay away from the buffet, the food and service in this particular restaurant in the hotel was poor. However there are many other options both in the hotel and nearby. I would definately stay againRating:5
will be back soonthe hotel and casino were both great, rooms were clean and had no odor like alot of places ive stayed in vegas, the room was decent sized and offers a view of either the strip or the hills, the casino was great, it was the only casino we could win money at, its also nice having security at the elevators, assuring the only people going up are guest, i will stay there again, i go every year and of the places ive stayed this place has been my favorite, i also want to recommend there food court, open 24 hours i believe......stay at the Orleans and you will enjoy your stayRating:5
Everything you need in one placeI booked this hotel based on previous reviews seen on trip advisor and we were not disappointed. Our family was travelling through the US on a month long holiday and preferred a hotel off the strip that wasnt some frat boys party house. Our room was really nice, spacious, and clean, and even came with a couch and table. When we failed to get the air conditioner to behave, the hotel sent an engineer up within 5 minutes to check it out for us (the problem turned out to be us not waiting long enough for it to respond!). Theres about 10 restaurants downstairs so there are plenty of places to eat within the hotel and the pool is quite big, if not a little shallow (bit of a shame it closes at 7pm though, but this seems to be the norm for most Vegas pools). Theres a 70 lane bowling alley upstairs which is really cheap and also a room with arcade games. The hotel has a huge Arena connected to it which was hosting The Mr Olympia competition that weekend, so people-watching in the lobby became highly entertaining! Because this hotel is off the strip, it seems to be well populated by locals, which is quite refreshing as a tourist, and a bit safer for families (I didnt see one drunken lout!). Once you get use to the get-up the waitresses have to wear, this is a great place to stay and I would happily stay here again.
Travelers tip on diningTGI Fridays proved to be our favourite restaurant chain while in the US. They have a huge menu with a great range of healthy options at a reasonable price. Kids meals are cheap and at the time we stayed they had $5 burger specials.Rating:5
Internet servicesI cant believe that the hotel can comp rooms to gamblers for entire weekends and yet they charge me daily for internet services.Rating:5
Great water pressure!I havent had so much water pressure in my shower in years! Plus the hotel/casino itself is nice. I was surprised to find out that there is no internet connection in the room itself. As a hotel guest, you are allowed 10 minutes of access at their Business Center for each day that you are a guest.Rating:5
One of the best over-all values in Las VegasThe hotel personnel were very pleasant and helpful, even at 8 in the morning. The rooms were large, well laid out and comfortable.Rating:2
smells from smoke everywhere.smells from smoke everywhere, even non smoking rooms.Rating:5
neat hotel off the stripwe went there with family to visit vegas for the 2nd time.the rooms are absoultely mantained including the toilets.the food wasnt the only impressive part as there are better options around.overall itfamily friendly plae to stay.Rating:4
Enjoyed the stayVery nice, clean hotel. Off the strip with easy shuttle service.Rating:4
Good ValueEnjoyed the hotel, oyster bar was excellent, room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff are courteous and helpful. My only negative is that the outdoor pool had an unpleasant odor of drains the day we were there but overall a very pleasant stay.
Travelers tip on diningTry the oyster bar at the Orleans if you like seafood. It is excellent!Rating:4
Will definitely go back!We stayed for two nights & it was great. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the strip & the rooms are great spacious & clean! This is the second time we stay, will definitely go back!
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksMake sure you try the buffet, the selection is great & the price beats any buffet on the strip!Rating:5
Will definately use this hotel again.Great Hotel. It has everything you need within the complex and it is within very reasonable taxi rates to the airport, uptown, and the strip. Food, drink, and ambience was more than we expected.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayFor the price this hotel was a real bargain. To many extras to mention.Rating:4
very nicevery niceRating:5
Excellent hotel.I would go back again especially if the price is right. It was great!
Travelers tip on diningThe restaurants at the Orleans were very good.Rating:5
Best relaxed HolidayWas recommended by friends and could not faulter the Hotel or room. Room was clean, spacious and very quite. All the eateries in the Hotel were great and not overly expensive. You can even use your player points to pay for means and in the gift shop. If I could only make one issue is when "Fall" come round they close the pool at 6pm. Being on holidays I wanted to stay out at the pool till at least 7.30pm. Thats all I could fault about the place, cant wait to go back..
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayThe strip is only a mile away, so if you have a car two minutes, free shuttles and shops all nearbyRating:5
Best value for moneyStayed 3 nights at the Orleans, room is big with an impressive bathroom. Definitely value for money.Rating:5
this hotel is a diamond in the rough....I truly enjoy my stay. the hot tub was fabulousthe buffet was cheap and delicious. The shuttle that was used for the hotel was available all the time. the wait was not long. the staff was very polite and sincere. I would definitely go back.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucksyou can take the shuttle to the strip and ride the bus for a cheap price...Rating:5
Enjoyed my time in VegasAlthough this is an older hotel . . We found it very comfortable . . The food in all the restaurants was really good and the price was not bad at all. The place had a lot to do . . Check out the movie theaters and the awesome bowling ally . . There is a free shuttle that runs ever 15-20 min and takes you to the middle of the strip. If you want to go somewhere specific, the cab ride is only about $10. My only complaint was the cig smell in the casino.
Travelers tip on recreational activitiesMovies, pool, gym, bowling alley . . make this a great family location as well.
