Reviews

. Great spot do not miss it make a reservation. We thought if you have found great food why stray and we were more impressed by the value and quality the second night. Travelers tip on local attractions We ate at Pasta Moon for two nights in row. I would go back to play golf. Everything at the Ritz does cost a lot, no surprise but it would be nice to see better value, for example breakfast does it really need to cost that much? It was foggy most of the time and cool but still a lovely setting. We did enjoy our firepit outside our room and we did use the spa although not as nice or as convenient as the Four Seasons. The swimming pool is indoors and a hike from the hotel, there are no comfortable lounge chairs outside to just sit and read and enjoy the views. If you are at the Ritz for the golf it is a great place to stay, there is very little else at the hotel to do.Beautiful Location - Great Golf - Great Town, Half Moon Bay We stayed at the Four Seasons in Palo Alto for two nights before moving to The Ritz at Half Moon Bay for three nights and I have to say we thought the Four Seasons was better.

. Only wish they had a driving range at the courses.First class Class you would expect from the Ritz.

. You will not be disappointed. Warm service and one of the best cooking around bay area. Specially Navio is a great restaurant. Your expectation of Ritz Carlton will not be disatisfied.Ecellent hotel and restaurant Beautiful view of Pacific ocean and renowned golf course.

. Patience grasshopper, as the arrival at the Ritz’s courtyard casts doubt aside as the Pacific Ocean streches out in front of the hotel - the perfect place to grab an Adirondack chair, a glass of California wine and an amazing sunset. While the, "Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay" sounds exotic, the drive into town on the PCH may have you second-guessing your destination...Worthwhile detour.

. I would highly recomend Go horseback riding on the beach.Dream Hotel Outstanding stay in a wonderful environment.

. Travelers tip on recreational activities There is not much to do or many restaurants in the area; be prepared to drive a short distance. It appeared every detail was thought out, including free in-room wireless access and quality of amenities. The room was very comfortable and enjoyed the deep bathtub, separate shower and toilet in the same room. The workout facility offers a great coastline view. Every member of the hotel staff was very friendly and thoughtful.Half Moon Ritz At the time of our stay, late December, the hotel offered a very quite and relaxing stay that’s definitely away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.just know you have to pay more for this level of service... Excellent service makes this an enjoyable place to stay. This is a high end hotel that caters to upper income clientele...Great Hotel.

Great getaway getting away from the summer heat in the central valley - being right on the ocean!!.

. We opted to eat in the lounge and had a very nice meal. The price of this Valentine’s day dinner/wine pairing with tax and tip was more than the price of the room! (I am not supposed to mention specific prices, but you all know how much the rooms go for) I don’t go the Ritz-Carlton to save money, but it was a bit much to be "held hostage" while they gouge guests over a "special" Valentines dinner. My only complaint: It was Valentines Day and the main dining room had a 4 course fixed-price dinner with wine pairing. I highly recommend the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay. The weather was fantastic. The property is outstanding. The service was perfect...Perfect, except.

. SERVICE IS TOP-NOTCH.GREAT VIEWS OF THE COAST GREAT GET-AWAY TO RELAX AND PAMPER YOURSELF WITH THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE.

. Bring warm clothes - it’s cold here even in July. Not much to do if you don’t play golf.Great place if you play golf This is a high-quality Ritz resort on an ocean cliff, surrounded by a golf course.

I would stay here anytime, "Cant wait to go back"!.Love to go back! Hey If you want a look at this hotel! Watch the movie American Wedding.

The personal service and attention to detail is better than any other resort we have visited--worldwide! Kudos to all concerned! Tony and Donna. Bagpipes at sunset, fabulous food and service, beautiful spa, walking trails throughout the property, and much, much more. Beautiful setting on the cliffs above the Pacific, a parklike golf course on one side with a links course on the other. Our experience far exceeded our expectations.Spectacular! From the moment we stopped at the security gate, I knew this was going to be good.

. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Book Spa/massage treatments when booking room. When traveling on a schedule you should’nt have to stress on changing plans to get a massage and relax. Expedia or Ritz Carlton needs to recommend to customers to book Spa appointments when booking room to get total experience on dates needed.Great Service will stay there again No Spa - massage appointments avaliable when needed totally booked.

. I recommend going into Half Moon Bay where there are nice resturants and coffee shops. A half a dozen people would open doors, greet you and ask you how you were before you got to the elevator for your room! You will spend a small fortune if you have drinks and food at the hotel. Service was excellent (almost too much).Nice but extremely pricey! The spa was top notch.

.Great Hotel on the Northern Coast of CA The ritz is the ritz, but on the coastal shores of Northern CA its even better.
