. Would definitely stay there again. The staff were amazing - (especially Andrew at the front desk) We had a room looking out at the Statue of Libery and Ellis Island - beautiful Dont miss the Sunday Breakfast Buffet - It was superb.Get a room overlooking the harbor!
Girls Getaway Weekend and we could not have chosen a better place.
. The subway is a very short walk so we did use that a lot. there is not much right around the hotel... BUT. Beautiful view and area.Beautiful
This is a great Hotel.
Thank you again for everything!!!. I know that the location is far for the most attractions but you can get anywhere on subway just in 15 min. I would come back. I would like to thanks Raquel and David at concierge desk and Manny and Kevin at the bar for an unforgettable experience. The room was great, very clean and beautiful. I work in hospitality and I was very impress. The best service ever!!!
I have never experienced the quality of service that the staff at the Ritz Carlton.
. The view of The Statue of Liberty from our window was worth the upgrade. What a great choice we made. We wanted a less hectic area to stay this time. Will stay here again!
We typically stay uptown close to Times Square.
. This hotel and its location are worth every penny. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricey for us, but a nearby Starbucks got us going in the morning and off on our adventures. There is even a double-decker tour bus entry point nearby, as well as the Staten Island ferry terminal, a great way to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island absolutely free. Subway lines from Battery Park go to all parts of the city, making attractions readily accessible. There is a wonderful walking park right along the river with lovingly-maintained gardens and scenic overlooks. At the very tip of Manhattan, our room overlooked the harbor and even had its own telescope which our bellman promptly adjusted to my daughters height and focused on the gleaming Statue of Liberty.Location, Location, Location
We were not at all disappointed by this gorgeous hotel, the lovely rooms and impeccable service, but we were delighted to discover how beautiful the residential Battery Park neighborhood is.
Better than expected
Awesome!

Awesome.
. The only complaint I had was the amount of noise I could hear from the other rooms, not sure if the walls were thin or if the folks on the other side were just loud.Lovely hotel
Very nice hotel, would stay again and recommend it to others.
.Great Place
We stay there all the time.
. Its easy to get to on the subway.

Be sure to go to the Blue Note night club if you like Jazz. Great sandwiches and coffee and breakfast items. Just ask the Bellmen its down the street. My bedding smelled like mildew I asked for a change and it still was a bit stinky but overall it was okay it was great to be across from Batter Park a lot of acctivities there and please go and eat at a place just down the street called Zandra or something like that it has great food and the prices are very reasonable. Ive stayed in better. I guess it was okay but not the top of the line. It wasnt as modern as most and the sitting area wasnt as comfortable as most others.MEDIOCRE
The Ritz Carlton in Battery Park was just okay, the service was average.
. The daily choices of food and drink will have you rushing back to the hotel. Please stay on the executive floor. I reccommend this hotel to anyone who has is used to that type of quality. The Ritz on Battery Park is the ultimate hotel for quality room and service. The Ritz Name is Synonymous with Ultimate Quality
Each time we stay in NY, we try to stay at another part of Manhattan, our only request is quality hotel and service.
. It was easy to get around the city from that location and it was very quiet at night.Great stay at the Ritz
We were really happy to have chosen the Ritz at Battery park.
. It saves time and saves your family from disappointment. The view of Battery park and Statue of Liberty compensates for any shortcomings
Purchase your tickets to the tourist locations(Ellis Island, museums etc)online ahead of your visit. For this brand name hotel, I expected at least complimentary in-room coffee but was disappointed. Its proximity to Ellis island ferry terminal and the ability to join city tour buses at their Battery park stop is just perfect.Excellent location
This hotel is uniquely located for tourists.

Next year go the Fringe Festival and also DeSantos restaurant (West Village) was wonderful. Battery Park is on the lower end of Manhattan so we took taxis most places but the room, view, service, and calm atmosphere were definate advantages. The staff from Reception, Concierge, Bell Men (all very nice) to the housekeeper were all friendly, and helpful (but not overly attentive - which I like).Fringe Festival and the Ritz Charlton
We came to see Citzen Ruth as part of the Fringe Festival - great play and wonderful hotel! We were upgraded to a Harbor View room -we could see the Statue of Liberty from our room.
. NIce walk.I want to buy their pillows and sheets!

New district called something like the Meat district, just a short walk from Grenwhich Village, lovely restaurants and cocktail bars, italian and steaks....I have never slept on such a lovely bed and bedding and the pilows were to die for, what more could you ask for!.... Here is the best thing. Rooms were perfect, very large and clean, nice view, quiet. Very safe access to only your floor from elevator. Eveyone was cheeful, the amenities were luxurious. It is easy to get anywhere, and less hectic than downtown. I am definately going back, and refuse to stay anywhere else.Absolute Heaven
Never before have I experienced such a wonderful team of staff and service.
.Most times, taxis are so not worth the added expense..
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get a Metropass if you will traveling all over NYC - love the NYC subways - easy to navigate, SO quick and convenient to get around NYC. I would recommend to anyone who might be willing to spend a little for a nice place to lay your head - club level was extra nice with breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day - was nice for checking email and reading the paper with the family. She did volunteer her own selections, repeatedly although that was not requested, since we knew where we wanted to go, so this was somewhat annoying, but overall a great stay. Service was good and concierge somewhat helpful when asked directions and information on certain destinations. Hotel was very nice and not too busy.Quality stay
We were visiting NYC for a few days even though we are naturally just a state away, and wanted to stay somewhere nice while exploring the southernmost tip of Manhattan in the Battery Park area.
. He was a great.
Very courteous and helpful staff, especially Andrew at the front desk.Extremely Friendly Staff, Very comfortable room.
. Real nice pictures when sun is setting.

When traveling by subway - use Rector station Excellent Chinese food - China Chalet (by NYSE 1 block up) Take the twilight water taxi cruise to statue of liberty/Ellis Island/ and Brooklyn Bridge. Only a subway ride to midtown action. I enjoy being downtown, its laid back and relaxing. Ill be back in two months. They know how to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. Everyone we came in contact with at the Ritz-Carlton was very friendly and professional. Hard working and friendly. All servers for club floor food presentations were excellent (Max). Very personable and genuine person. Housekeeping "Grace" was wonderful. Bellhop "JT" - made a phone call, took care of my first question Concierge was "spot on" with all suggestions, directions, and answers to my many questions during my 6 day stay. The crown of downtown
Superior service door to door Valet, never had to wait for a taxi, towncar or my car door to be opened.

You will pay more for club level but if you have kids or dont want a big restaurant experience, there is enough in the lounge to get by all day!. The price included airfare from Houston, so overall it was a very good deal - no Harbor view though. The Club Lounge however was very nice, with great service. The room was on the club level so I expected larger and nicer.Great club level - so-so rooms
We stayed one night on our way to Europe.
.
Nice hotel, close to metro and everywhere.I recommend this hotel, good for weekend in NY.
not frendly with kids

try the BARBETA RESTAURANT IS VERY VERY GOOD, AND NOT SO EXPENSIVE.Very good, but they can be better.
. Nice restaurants near. Its Manhattan, so we didnt rent a car, just a few blocks from the subway. Very helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. We could see the Statue of Liberty from our window.Manhattan Chic
Great view of the harbor.
We will be back
1 of the best
very family freindly.
. Great location.
This Hotel is close to Subways that will take you anywhere. I would not even look for another Hotel. Highly recommend this Hotel! Whenever we go back to Manhattan we will definitely stay here. One of the best vacations ever knowing what a great place you would come back to at night. Room was fabulous!!!! Everything was beyond my expectations. Extremely nice and friendly staff.ExcellentHotel
Excellent Hotel.
. While this is normally an expensive first class hotel, we got a great package deal on Expedia, so look for specials. The ferries to the statue and Ellis Island are just across the street. The harbor/Statue of Liberty views from eastern facing rooms are wonderful. Ditto the bellmen. Breakfast wait staff knew us after the first day. Concierge handled several things for us efficiently. Front desk was welcoming. The staff was excellent.Great staff, great stay
The Ritz-Carlton Battery Park exceeded all my expectations.
. Lovely hotel.
Room was a bit dusty during week long stay and fruit flies were an issue,, other than that, the bed was better than home and the staff attended to every need,,, and beyond.Best service I have EVER seen in a Hotel.
