. There is a warm, family atmosphere, which you might not expect if you’ve never stayed at a Ritz Carlton but it truly is a perfect stay for the entire family. We have two small children and they love staying at this hotel. The service is second to none and the decor is beautiful.The Perfect Hotel, Family Friendly We’ve stayed twice at the Ritz in Palm Beach and we plan to keep going back! The hotel has 2 large pools and a private beach.

. A supermarket (Publix) is near the hotel--pick up a bottle of wine. Drinks are expensive at the Ritz ($20) for glass of house wine). All cash but you can save a lot of money on meals. Rooms (and resort in general) is clean, modern, comfortable and elegant. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is right on the beach. Resort is both romantic yet very family friendly (we travelled with our daughter and saw many other kids at the hotel).Great and Relaxing Stay We stayed for the July 4th weekend and couldn’t have had a better time.

. The brunch at the Orange restaurant was great, but dinner there was disappointing. Also, they ran out of hand towels for trying to get the soap off your hands. The sink did not put out water, and at times the floors remained wet and sandy for long periods.Not the best Ritz Though I’d probably go back if the rates were really low, I was disappointed that the women’s bathroom for the pool area was not well maintained.

Walk down the beach (to the right) for views of houses, yards, etc. The other top notch hotel in Palm Beach (historic & site of society events) has a supermarket and several restaurants within a 10 min walk, so that’s better for me. That was frustrating and very expensive and is the only reason I would think twice before returning... Typically, I like to go to various local restaurants but there were none around; also, couldn’t buy snacks anywhere except the hotel gift shop. Biggest reason I wouldn’t return is that there’s nothing within walking distance of the hotel, except an ice cream shop and 1 steak house across the street. Food/drink service on beach also not great - had to seek them out at lunch time. Hotel’s beach service was spotty - no one offered umbrellas or chair set up (I did the chairs myself, not a big deal but would have been nice to be helped). Water was fine, although rocky in front of hotel which made getting further out a little tricky. Lots of shells, pebbles, and interesting things washed up on shore. However, beach itself is great for walking and looking at homes along the way (in either direction). Loved the ocean-view balcony! Beach was off-putting at first, since the entrance to the public beach is right next to the Ritz and people walk, sit, swim on the "Ritz beach".restaurants were downfall Room was standard Ritz style; clean and comfy seating...Beach was great.

. Overall worth the money and a Joy. The property is small enough that you are not walking for ever to get to restuarants or amenities. Our stay was extremely enjoyable. Every employee is pleasant.What service!!!!! The staff is obviously very well trained.

. Its cheaper, the food is awesome (best in the south) and is faster than waiting around for the retarded staff at Temple Orange in the Ritz. Travelers tip on dining If you have a car go to John G’s for breakfast at the Lake Worth public beach about 2 miles north of the hotel on A1A. This is not anything like most Ritz Carltons. Getting breakfast is painfully slow and staff are cold and dismissive. My room was noisy. Bell service took 1 hour to deliver a bag.No service and incompetent staff While the property is nice nothing works at this hotel.

. Valet parking is extra from the room rate which adds up but it was included in our package. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks Look for package deals since this will save you money. We will come again in a year or two., and the amount of raw seafood, lobsters, and other cooked entries were great. We did see the food, setup, etc. Unfortunately we had already ate and did not capitolize on this. They had a seafood special that was not adverstized and it was out of this world and affordable. Watch out for specials. We were there in off season _ beginning of summer so this was not a factor however the seabreeze is very nice. They have a fireplace for outdoors so at night you can be enterained under the stars year round. The bar area is very nice and comfortable. The service again is very nice. The pool is very comfortable and accomodating to kids, adults and seniors. the hotel pool is very nice and compensates for the rocky beach front. the beach however is great for sun bathing. Other area beaches are nicer for swimming. I lot of rock at low tide, but nice at high tide. Beach wasn’t the best. The location is perfect, since you are near golf, area attractions and most importantly you roll out of bed and into the beach. The morning breakfast was great and the people engaed in conversation when invited, remembered your name and added to the comforts of the vacation. The staff were the top of are list(and we travel a lot). The room was great and very comfortable. We were placed in a location that was far away from all the construction and it was great. Make sure you are not near this area.What a vacation should be! Construction in the hotel to add a wing is occuring at the present time.
