Oasis of Peace and ComfortI had a difficult series of meetings to attend in St. Louis, and the Ritz-Carlton became my refuge. The staff was attentive to an amazing degree, and they accomodated every request I made with speed and attention to detail. I could not have asked for a better experience.Rating:5

Not satisfiedService was bad, the spa was ridiculously terrible.Rating:5
Great location and serviceEverything was great.Rating:4
Needs updatingThe rooms need updating. And why are there no accessible plug-ins for your laptop and phone charger? I had to move and crawl under the desk to find an outlet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Travelers tip for business travelersBring an extension cord & power strip so you have a place to plug in and charge your computer, cell phone, ipod, etc.Rating:5

Cant wait to go back!Staying at the Ritz in St. Louis is like going to visit your favorite aunt at her beautiful suburban estate. The hotel has alot of character, grandeur and a homey feeling. The sushi bar in the lobby is wonderful and the brunch on Easter Sunday was fantastic. The fitness is state of the art. It is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting anyone at Washington University.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stayThe Fitness center is wonderful! As a guest you can work out, take a sauna and steam and swim in the indoor pool and no additional cost. If you want to splurge get a massage and ask for George!Rating:5
Cant wait to go backEverything was perfect. The view from the balcony was exquisite and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Awesome Hotel and StaffI loved this hotel, it was by far the most comfortable and pleasant stay I have ever had. and for the price it is way above other places I have stayed at for more money. staff was very friendly and the hotel was very upscale. I cant wait to go back again.Rating:5
Great ServiceThe hotel was great. The Swing band in the lobby was fun and they were great help in securing tickets to the Rams game. Unbelievable seats on the 50 yard line. Grants Farm was a great family place. Extremely clean and well kept.Rating:4
Nice StayWelcomed at check in with a lemon drop martini! Hotel met expectations. Ask for higher floor with view.Rating:5
Will always stay here when I visit St. Louis! The quality of the accommodations, amenities, service was all excellent. The Sunday buffet is not to be missed; go hungry!Rating:3
It aint that ritzyIt does not feel like a Ritz. This was the first Ritz we ever stayed in which the staff does not customarily greet the guests in the hallways. The lobby is always busy and noisy, either with a function or a special meal. The pool is pitiful but it did not seem the deter the kids. Decent gym. The room was OK but not special. Even though there were four of us in the room, they only left 2 chocolate squares in the evening, which is not a biggy but is so unlike the Ritz, always attentive to details. Self-parking was exorbitant for St. Louis standards: $18 a day. The exception to our experience was the Sunday brunch: tasteful, elegant, pleasant staff, just what one should expect for the whole stay.Rating:4
room not what we expectedroom furnishings old, wallpaper old, peeling in some areas. reminded us of grandmothers.... not nearly as plush as we thought. lobby was awesome! room just old.. we are yuppies that like to splurge on awesome rooms..... not too sure wed go back. service was great, though.
Travelers tip on dininggood sushi in lobbyRating:5
