. Travelers tip on dining Tons of good restaurants nearby, lots of variety. I’d definitely stay here again. Lots of land to play on if you have young kids.M. The 50’s diner looked great, menu reasonable, we just decided to eat out in the A.nice to check my e-mails and keep up with fantasy baseball.... There was a computer available to use in the lobby with internet access. The location was great, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the pools (along with the jacuzzi) were top notch. Can’t Go Wrong For the price I got this hotel at through Expedia, it was a fantastic stay.

Loved the Diner!!!.Cute Hotel and Diner For the money it was a very nice place, the staff was friendly, courteous and we had a slight maintenance problem that was fixed very quickly.

. The service was great and the price was right. The food was excellent . They have a breakfast restaurant called Helen’s that was opened mornings. Service was good. Pools clean and well maintained. Clean rooms and common areas .We’ll be Back Good value for the price.

. because we brought the children) Don’t forget your pails and shovels! The beaches are beautiful and very family friendly. The cube refrig in room was great (esp. Tidewater is close to all and a hop away from "6". Added benefits are the courteous staff and knowlegeable front desk staff.Nice central location / close to all Tidewater provides a "Brochure Room" for all of the most up to date Cape Cod information.

. Travelers tip on recreational activities We rented a jetski & also parasailed & went on a whale watch it was alot of fun we had a good time. Better pillows & a bigger TV would be nice.I would stay there again it was fine.

. Public transport isn’t very developed, but taxis are quite cheap and very friendly. The only small downside was that we didn’t have a car so it was a bit of a hassle to move around. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great pools. It was great.Great We spent 4 days there.

maybe not... If you are planning on staying at the hotel. If you find an hotel to stay overnight and be out all day, that’s a good deal.Good only to stay overnight The hotel/motel is simple, nothing fancy or out of the ordinary.

. I don’t think you can do much better for the money. Very close to the beaches. They have a nice breakfast place on the property that was very convenient. The indoor pool was a big hit with my kids. Rooms were clean, but not spectacular. Excellent price. This was it.Nice for the money We were just looking for an inexpensive place to stay down the cape for a few days.

. Will definately be going back again next year. I expect that during the summer, it gets very busy, but we went the last weekend in May, and it was a nice quiet place to stay. The best part was that it was central to EVERYTHING. The indoor pool was kept at a great temperature and the hot tub was well maintained and clean. The rooms were nice and the view from the balcony overlooking the marshland was amazing. The man at the desk (I forget his name) was so nice and accomidating. It exceeded our expectations. We decided to book and hope for the best.Great little place My fiancee and I went down to the Cape for the weekend, and found this place for an extremely low rate.

it is local surrounded by everything you need in the cape. it has alot of things to do for kids, pool playgrounds and a diner for breakfast in the morning. i plan on going there everytime i go to the cape. the rooms are good sized and i loved it. it is very friendly and clean. i never stayed here before and when i arrived i was excited.Would love to stay there everytime i went to the cape! best hotel in cape cod i was worried at first when i picked this hotel.

Not very clean either. Not going back I brought my wife and grandson for 2 nights the maid we had was extremely rude she yelled at my grandson because we were not out at check out time when I had already spoke to mangement about leaving a little later and it was fine.

you are looking at it...with kids. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay want a nice place at a good price. Wireless interenet was a bit slow, but they were working on it in the back where we were. Had the pool to our selves and had a great breakfast at hte diner.and everyday in sprite of the mess we were cleaned perfectly everyday... We has party favors and decorations, pinatas wrapped presents. Place was well priced and very clean. My granddaughters birthday We stayed here for a weekend for our grand-daughters birthday.

..... Plan on the Tidewater anytime of year. It was a good weekend with no issues regarding our stay. Easy access from Route 28 traveling either way and DeParma an Italian Restaurant is within walking distance. I’ve put this place on my list of places to stay. Maid service did a great job as well as the main desk when we arrived and departed. The nights were quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was excellent and the waitress was the hit of the weekend. We were in the same building as the indoor pool, hot tub and the 50’s diner. Our rooms were clean with easy access from the corridor or outside. My group consisted of 3 couples spending the weekend during the Cape Cod Clash weekend..Look forward to going back to the Tidewater.

. Tried calling the hotel to get directions but all I got was an answering machine. Not satisfied Hotel was extremely difficult to find even with a GPS.

... Was a good value for what we paid. Place was a bit run down but inexpensive. It was fine for that.really only slept in the room...Tidewater Inn Was at the Tidewater for three nights for fishing.

. Good time. Lewis bay view in back yard. Close to everything. yarmouth can’t be beat. this location in w. Beach to walk to or drive to full service beaches. outdoor pool is seasonal. Cute diner next to the indoor pool. With refrigerator and they found us a mirowave, clean room , good view of duck pond across street which is rare on rt 28 on the cape. Will definitely go back really good hotel 3 stars at a 2 star price.

. Room smelled very musty, and was not very clean, had to leave.Never Going Back Booked the room for 3 nights, had to leave after the first night.

. will go again. that and half price for the room booked on line. great staff even found us a microwave for our room which came with a refrig. two nice pools and a good 50’s style breakfast diner. beach near by or you could drive to one.the location is ideal for the cape, you could even day trip it to the wellfleet drive inn .Good experience we had a good room with a sunset view, a little pond across the street and lewis bay in the back.

. A good place for families travelling with kids. Will Go Back Place is situated close to all scenic places around Hyannis and the Cape.

Way not worth the money!. The walls were paper thin, so I heard the rattly plumbing if someone used the bathroom upstairs, and I heard the guy next door snoring away. We left at 6:30 am the next morning to get out of there. The carpet needs to be tossed out. I felt like I was suffocating all night long. It was overpowering. What I didn’t expect was the mildew smell. I expected this.Stinky Room!!!! Hotel was old-fashioned drive-up-to-your room motel.

. Bringing a toddler to a restaurant is still quite tough. Even though it is not a big deal, but we could be more prepared to bring my son’s cereal box. OK, we did not get it. We read reviews and people mentioned free breakfast. --the very last piece is no free breakfast. You just have to share lobby computer with other people during the office hours. They should correct the hotel infor. This sucks. We were told certain rooms have it but not the one we booked. However, even we wanted to pay for it, our room just did not have the access. The same dirty towel was again picked up and put it back on the rack! --The hotel information said internet surcharge. As instructed, we left one dirty towel on the floor (the rest on the rack). The sign in the room said they don’t change towels every day unless you insist. The exact roll of tissue was rolled back from the floor untidily! We were just in shock that they did not change the roll since it was almost empty except that a few feet unrolled by my son. The tissue fell on the floor which was the very last piece of that roll. One day, my son accidentally unrolled the bathroom tissue a few feet long. The tissue box was empty for 3 (out of 4) days. --Room service is bad. An iron is provided but not the iron board. You need to warm up TV to avoid everything in green. The AC is extremely noisy. Wearing socks in the room, they turned black within 10 mins. Not impressed Disappointing things: --the room is really old and carpet is very dirty.

Needs complete renovation, would not stay here again Inside of entry door was filthy Beds were hard.

I’m a native New Englander, so I know the difference!. Great onion rings and EXCELLENT fried clams. There is a small seafood restaurant just across the highway called "Golden Boy’s" that we really enjoyed. Food was good and reasonably priced. Travelers tip on dining The diner at the hotel is only open for breakfast. Really have no complaints; it’s not a luxury property, but certainly a great place to stay as your base for a Cape vacation or weekend.one of my pet peeves is when a hotel advertises a pool and it feels like you are part of a "human stew" when you go in... Pools were great, one indoors and one out, and were good sized. There are a few buildings and two are much closer to the road. Grounds were nice, and location is fine though on a relatively busy road. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. The Tidewater is an older but well maintained property.Great Value Agree with most fo the other reviews here.

.A nice little retreat Very clean, well maintained property easy to get to and centraly located.

. Helpful staff, brochure room and internet accessibility was appreciated. Otherwise everything was fine. Only complaint, the comfort of the beds, too hard. Enjoyed using the pool on our quick weekend to the Cape.Great for a quick affordable visit to the Cape Hotel was clean and a great price.
