... I wasnt going to walk around anyways and if nobody said anything and I didnt read the other reviews I wouldnt have noticed. Apparently its a bad part of town. Smoking room because of availability and it was kinda gross, but overall it was fine. If youre staying with someone else its okay but even my taxi driver asked if I was staying alone. No single ladies should stay here!
It was fine, but there are TONS of hotels in Pensacola.Great for price.
. Great location for food & entertainment.
Until they renovate by pulling up that nasty looking carpet, paint, properly clean the rooms (ie, dust; polish), & change the mattresses, bring disposable bedding, slippers or flip flops, toilet seat covers & youll be just fine. I thought there was a pool but, there wasnt. The bed was not comfortable for me at all. There were burn marks everywhere. The carpet was nasty looking & nasty.Very Disappointed
The room wasnt dusted which lead me to believe I was staying in a dirty room.
Ick!.but the cleanliness of the rest of the room was just so-so... The sheets were clean. Dirt, dried food spills, and who knows what else were all over it, and I had to wonder if they ever wash their blankets.Dirty
The blanket on the bed was so dirty that it gave me the creeps.
. The Travel Lodge rooms smelled of stale smoke, mainly due to the cleaning and maintenance workers smoking non-stop outside the back door and the smoke smell being sucked into the air conditioning units. We were very disappointed. The star rating was the same, but the quality of the Travel Lodge was much lower than the La Quinta. Will not return
We had stayed at the LaQuinta in in Pensacola a week earlier and before returning used Expedias ratings to make a choice.
. This was a very low budget operation. The continental breakfast consist of cereal only. The building reaked of a foul odor.Very disappointed
I booked through expedia for what I thought was a good deal only to be disappointed.
.the beach was a short 20 min drive and for the price we could not beat it. The staff was very friendly.when we reached pentsacola the hotel was very easy to find.Great get away
my family and I decided to go to pensacola,fl for a few days.
. I would spend a little extra for a nicer hotel next time. The breakfast was nothing except muffins and cereal. The staff was pretty friendly. It is a close drive to Pensacola Beach and had lots of restaurants around. There was a strange smell to the room and the hallways. It was so-so
The hotel was fairly clean.
. Staff was very nice. No problems, Wal-mart within a few minutes from hotel and Pensacola Beach was within about 10 min. The second time was a lot better. The first room we had a little trouble with the wireless internet, but this was quickly resolved.Good for a night stay
My family and I spent two different days in this hotel.
Big Disappointment:(.We did not get our moneys worth. The water park was not running and several other rides were not running as well.We bought bracelets to ride and do everything and then this was not the case!! Was not allowed to drive go carts said we needed a ticket, but we had the bracelets and paid for it all. Also, lost money in the dryer,it would not dry clothes, think they need a new one!!
Travelers tip on recreational activities
Sams fun city is such a rip off.The room was nice and clean.Kind of a bummer when you been on the road for 7 hrs.The only disappointment i had was we couldnt check in to 3pm that day.Great place to stay for the money!!
It was a nice place to stay.
. I will come back. The pool was also very clean. We were only about 20 minutes from the white sands of the Gulf. I must say that this hotel exceeded my expectations for what I paid.
Im not an easy man to please when Im paying for something. It was great for the price.
. There were no problems, but it just didnt feel secure.
I wouldnt stay if traveling with children or if I were a woman alone. I would not stay again. There were no problems, however. Still, I just couldnt rest due to feelings of uncertainty. The room was very small, but clean enough, though bare. The inside was old, barren and unclean. I was particulary unnerved by the isolated back-door entrance. The hotel was small and kind of squished in the middle of other businesses. It not for them I would have gone elsewhere, simply because I didnt feel secure.Just didnt feel secure
The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.
. Housekeeping was bit lazy. The front desk staff was very friendly with excellant recommendations of local eateries.Travelodge
Rooms are small, clean and the furniture old, needed new mattresses.
. Bed was comfy.
Very comfortable motel.Will use again.
Travelers tip on local attractions
I visited the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola and it was only a 15 minute drive from the hotel. The staff was helpfull and efficient during check in en check out.Conveniently located
This Travelodge Inn is conveniently located near I-10 and easy to find.
Do not go here!. I will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone. It was so bad that it was hard For me to sleep, I felt so gross. The microwave in the room had old food splatters on it and a collection of dead bugs were on the window sill. The overall appearance was gross. The toilet had a problem and wouldnt stop running. My room had 2 beds, one of the beds had crumbs in it, which hinted to me that the sheets were not changed, the other bed has burn holes all over the sheets and pillows also. There was gum stuck on the floor and chair. Once I found my room on my own and got it open, it smelled so bad, like mildew. When I arrived the people were rude and didnt even direct me to my room.Never ever go here
This hotel was so gross.
. Savings afforded more leisure activities. All basic needs met.Great Hotel for the Price
. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget. The rooms were nothing spectacular but they were clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Its no 5-star hotel but a very good value and the staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. We were both pleasantly surprised.Pleasantly Surprised
My wife was afraid to see what the place would be like since the price was so low.
. Yes you do have to drive everywhere but where wouldnt you unless you stayed right on the beach, base, etc. It is within minutes of beaches, shopping, dining, etc.
This is very close to everything we needed to visit with our son at Pensacola Naval Base. Would stay here again.Good bang for your buck!
This is not a new hotel but the service and room was more than adequate for us.
. The staff was friendly and helpful.Great place to stay
The room was clean.
. Make sure you bring cleaning supplies, I had to clean the tub for my small children and it was dirty.
Travelers tip on saving a few bucks
The room is ok if your saving money on a trip.Overall you would only want to stay for one night if you have to. Also we found a roach in our room. Parking is limited. The bedding on the bed is old and the carpet. If your looking for something new and sheek this is not the place. Not so clean
The hotel was outdated.
The hotel was a nice clean place and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
. Overall it was a sufficient place to rest each during my vacation. The complimentary breakfast only included of muffins that seemed to be from a Little Debbie box. The room was fine but in the bathroom I kept having to jiggle the handle to keep the toilet from running and the door of the bathroom didnt close completely. I used it for my laptop. I did like the feature of a safe in the rooms to lock up personal belongings.A sufficient place to stay for the price
The hotel was OK.
. The clerks were very nice, but I wouldnt stay there again or recommend it to others. The bathroom smell faintly of urine and the room needed painting. The mattresses were very soft and we woke with a back ache. It was right off of the interstate so we didnt feel unsafe, but down the street didnt look too good. You could tell it was old and seemed to be on the edge of a bad area of town.Would not stay there again
This motel was great to save money, but that was the best feature.
Highly recommend!. Thursday is there busiest night, being college night, and admission is only $5 to get into all 7 bars. One was a piano room, one a karaoke bar, one had pool tables, one had a live rock band, one was a cigar lounge, and two were dance floors.
Travelers tip on nightlife
Seville Quarter in downtown Pensacola was alot of fun! There are 7 bars in one building with something different in each one. Also, we asked several times for extra pillows and towels and never received them. The rooms were so small there wasnt much room to move around. We had very heavy, large suitcases, and children, and there were no elevators to get to the second floor. There were air conditioners leaking water on our heads over the doors we had to enter in.Not Impressed
The neighborhood behind the hotel was bad which made coming in late kind of scary because of the unsavory looking characters roaming the parkinglot.
. I would not stay there again nor recommend this motel. Juice was good. The contential breakfast was 1/2 muffin cup size with no lables and a small size unlabled honey buns. The maintenance man was responsive to our request to fix the bathroom door, and did use pliars to adjust the air temperature for the AC unit. The front desk people were unfriendly but was able to provide directions to closeby locations. It was nice having a refridgerator in the room, even though the freezer was unusable due to excessive frost buildup. There was no way to regulate the temperature of the AC since the knob was broken off the unit. The bathroom door scraped when you closed it so nighly trips when everyone was asleep disturbed others.Disappointed
The window had black mold around it, and the caulking in the bathroom did not cover the mold underneath.
