. i told the desk the next morning but didnt get much of a reaction, not even an apology. the next morning my shower started warm and then kept progressively getting hotter, i could barely rinse my head (with a washcloth).i even tried to adjust the valves under the sink...Scalding hot water
everything was great for the first 5 minutes until i went to brush my teeth and there was no cold water!! the cold was hot and the hot was scalding.
Nice people!.Just Fine
While not the newest or fanciest place, it was clean, nice, and the service was excellent.
.The sofabed mattress spring was broken and mattress lumpy. The water took too long to heat up and then it was lukewarm. The shower head was too low to stand under without ducking. The exposed plumbing under the sink was ductaped. Not impressed
Room was shabby and in need of updating.
. Although the front desk personnel were friendly, the request for the cleaning of the shower went ignored. Not exactly what I was expecting - a little disappointing. The "breakfast" was cereal, bagels and pre-packaged sweet rolls with coffee, tea or boxed juice. We stayed elsewhere that last night. We eventually left on the third day because we were leaving to shower at my sons apartment anyway. I had 4 night reservation (2 rooms) and would have checked out, but it was already paid for and I was told I was not able to get a refund. When we arrived back that night, there was no improvement. The first day we were there I asked for special attention to be paid to the shower when the maid service was performed.Moldy shower
The grout in our shower had mold and mildew in it with soap scum up the walls about 6 inches.
. We really just needed a place to sleep and shower (hence the hot water issue). Other than those two, our stay was fine. Each night the hot water heater blew out and we had to call to have it re-lit.Good for the money; quiet; courteous staff
Room was supposed to be 2 queen beds and it was 1 queen and 1 double.
.The room had 3 queen beds, a hide a bed and a small refrig which made it roomy enough for our party. The pool is small, in the parking lot and next to a busy road. Airconditioning had difficulty cooling the whole room. Machines in workout room broken.Large room but run down
Limited continental breakfast.
. Located in the shopping center at University Parkway and West 2230 North in Provo. We spent less than $60 (including tip) for three people (no alcohol). Delicious food for reasonable cost. We enjoyed eating in the optional hibachi grill seating, where the chef entertained us as he prepared our meal.
Travelers tip on dining
Check out Asuka for Japanese dining. Wed definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Provo. For our purposes, this lodging worked out great. Lots of restaurants in town. We had to drive to find another breakfast eatery. Free [all-carb] breakfast provided in office, but no seating (take-out only). Great location made getting around easy., no trailers).e. Not much room for parking; certainly not meant for anything larger than a family vehicle (i. The friendly staff was quick to bring me the extra amenities I requested (lotion and another pillow).Clean, good quality lodging
Basic lodging, but clean and modern.
. On a good note, the hotel personnel were very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are small with too much furniture. Not the Best
The hotel is older and run down.
. Parking is sparse. Feels like a trailer park. Bathroom door clawed by some animal.Only out of desperation would I stay here again
Smells odd, walls need to be painted, old dirty carpet; basically needs to be remodeled.
. Not much choice of food.Eating and Food area
Eating area was to small, no tables or chairs.
Ok
was good enough to stay
good deal.
.very clean every day .It was ok
good location, could be better.
. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in Provo on the two main roadways. Salt Lake City and Temple Square are just 50 miles north and easily accessed. Also, Sundance is just 20 minutes away and that area is beautiful. Plan for that in advance -- especially if youre on a tight schedule. Since there are few left-hand arrow signals, making a turn is almost impossible.
Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay
It is very hard to make left-hand turns -- even on the busiest roads. Overall, it was a good experience. Also, having a second story room made it possible for us to open the bathroom and bedroom windows and get a breeze -- especially at night. We had a second-floor room with a view of the Provo Tabernacle, the Courthouse, and the mountains, so be sure to ask for a room on the side by the church. The cleaning staff members were wonderful and helpful. The place itself was a little run-down, but clean, comfortable, and safe. However, they DID know the answers and were eventually helpful. Therefore, they acted a little "put out" when I came to them with questions.
The hotel staff members were young and studying for classes (I assume).Pretty Good.
Go to Seven Peaks, the kids had a lot of fun and so did we on a hot day!. I would go back because of the low rates. But otherwise the pool area was nice, and the beds werent to bad. We had to switch rooms because the first one we had the shower would fill up and wouldnt drain. Most of the lights in the room didnt work, and the sofa bed was broken. The rooms were generally clean, well as clean as they could get.Great for low budget
The hotel staff was very friendly.
. It has the basics but is extremely old.Not impressed
We will not be staying at this hotel again.
. After ten minutes in the cold, we finally went to another hotel. The sign said to ring door bell and someone would come to give you your key. We were very tired and I went to check in at the front desk, and the front door was locked.Dont come in Late!!
My husband and I got into town somewhat late, 11:30 pm.
