. The complimentary wine tasting and delicious full breakfast were nice add-ons.Wonderful place to stay! We would stay at this inn again in a heartbeat! It was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the staff was friendly and very helpful.

It was very quiet and serene the entire time we stayed, and the jacuzzi at night was so relaxing!.Great escape in quiet wine country Free wine tasting when you arrive is a nice beginning, breakfast is supurb when eaten in a deck chair by the poolside! The locale is ideal, far from a busy city, surrounded by vines.

. Grand Junction is full of hidden natural beauty, via short or long hikes, biking, and off-roading. Travelers tip on recreational activities Stop at the Visitors Center in Fruita for all of the wonderful information about the Grand Valley area and Colorado in general. This was a very quiet relaxing hotel. The pool was very large and it was so nice to be outdoors with such a great view of the Book Cliffs and the Grand Mesa. Buffet breakfast was very complete with hot and cold choices. Rooms are larger than most standard hotels of this category. This will be our hotel of choice for future trips The Wine Country Inn was a beautiful hotel sitting in the vinyards.

. We are looking forward to making another trip and staying at the Inn again. The hotel was extremely clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.Wonderful place! Have already recommended this Inn to friends.

. Palisade peaches are the best - we even found them in the food hall at the swank Harrod’s department store in London years ago. We picked up a couple of boxes of peaches that had been picked that morning, and they made the trip to Phoenix in great shape. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Stop at McLean’s Farm a few blocks south of the inn for fresh peaches in season. Palisade’s peach orchards and wineries are all nearby. We enjoyed the wine tasting after we arrived and the breakfast the next morning. The hotel is new, comfortable, all non-smoking and had outstanding service. And the rate we got on Expedia was excellent. This one is, by far, the best.Highly recommended We have been visiting Grand Junction each summer for 25 years and have stayed at a number of hotels there.

.Wine tasting The wine tasting was a very nice touch and the local wine is excellent.

. We didn’t get a chance to try the wine, I wish I had known through Expedia what time the wine tasting was. It was wonderful. We lived in GJ for years, but never spent time in Palisade until this trip. Make sure to bring your camera as the hotel grounds are spectacular. Excellent views, excellent room, great pool, perfect vineyards, and an amazing breakfast. The stay couldn’t have been better.Don’t miss a chance to stay here!!! My wife and I visited this hotel for our anniversary.

AWESOME! Very clean and good price! Will definetly go back! Bed very comfortable! Very friendly staff! Good breakfast! Can’t say enough it was wonderful!.

.Great hotel! This was a wonderful place to stay- great backdrop, free breakfast, free wine tasting, great rooms, beautiful pool.

. We had our 2 granddaughters with us this visit & they loved it. It is interesting to look at all the old photos they have displayed. All the staff are friendly & courteous. This is a very comfortable place to stay. just as impressed as the 1st visit..2nd visit .

. Other options in the area are mostly B&Bs so if you want the hotel route, this was a good bet. Overall great spacious rooms, full breakfast, nice hot tub and a good price. Wine tour by bike highly recommended. You are smack in the middle of two vineyards which is really nice except when they are spraying pesticides--be wary of this. From the outside it looks like a chain but it’s a family-owned operation and well done.Good stuff A cute place very accessible from I-70 and close to downtown Palisade.

Beautiful scenery!. Great place! Travelers tip on recreational activities Definitely go to Colorado National Monument it is well worth the time and energy. Would definitely stay there again. The pool area was immaculate. Breakfast was buffet style and very good.Fantastic B&B Wonderful location nearby wineries, very clean and comfortable.

. The owners are from Denver and the restaurant specializes in upscale Italian/Asian cuisine at affordable prices. Travelers tip on dining Try The Rose Cafe in downtown Palisades. Our room was on the back side overlooking the vineyards and the Grand Canal which was nice because the hotel is not far off the highway and there is some highway noise at the hotel. They provide an amazing buffet breakfast and a wine tasting every afternoon.Would stay there again The Wine Country Inn is a very nice, new hotel on the western slope.

. We will certainly go back. Go and check it out. The hotel is located on a winery which is a beautiful setting. They do offer a nice patio setting to enjoy the evenings with their wine and other beverages. The breakfast they offered was great food and the setting was very nice. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and luxurious. It was beautiful, clean, and a very wonderful place to stay.I’d go back in a heartbeat! This hotel was more than we had expected.

. Everyone was really friendly.A great place to stay! The breakfast buffet was very good.

. The views surrounding the motel are beautiful. There are quite a few wineries within walking distance. I like the comfy beds. Nice, clean place to stay.Nice place to stay.

Stay at the Wine Country Inn, Palisade, CO. This place is superb and should help boost Palisade, one of Colorado’s best kept secrets! Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Get away from Grand Junction, CO.J. The attention to detail is truly amazing and I consider my stay at this hotel one of the best I ever had, comparable to many highly rated east coast hotels that simply are all name and not game and certainly better then the hotels located in G. It is also superbly handicap accessible. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel did provide late afternoon wine tasting and a hot buffet style breakfast in the morning. This is wonderful as there are no franchise chains, just local independents with a great variety of menu choices. They purposefully did not put in a restaurant so that they could send people to the nearby eateries in Palisade. The owners designed their facility after the type of hotels found in Sonoma. The hotel is just beautiful designed like a farmhouse with detail to allow it to blend in with the surrounding town. What a smart decision. The price was lower then the hotel chains found on Horizon Drive in Grand Junction. We booked our stay there looking only at the hotel’s website. It turned out to be the Wine Country Inn. Last year we noticed a building being constructed right in the middle of one of the vineyards. Upon return we frequent Palisade (about 15 minutes from Grand Junction) and tour Colorado’s excellent wineries.Wonderful alternative to the Grand Junction - Horizon Drive I vacation yearly for a week of hiking in Utah arriving in Grand Junction, CO (Walker Airfield) and heading out from there.

Bravo!. I personally met with the owner and gave him the well deserved pat on the back that he earned. Clean, comfortable and QUIET rooms, wonderful staff, great atmosphere, delicious food and drink. This is the only one that I have stayed at that I would return to as a vacation in itself. I have stayed at a lot of hotels over the years.A vacation in itself If I could have given it six stars I would have.

We can’t wait to go back again for the wine tasting that they offer. Can’t wait to go back Awesome views!!! The room was so clean and pretty.

We will be back!. The vineyards completely surround the hotel & you can walk right down the road to wine tastings. The room was attractive with a very comfortable bed. Everything is nice & new. The free breakfast was fabulous and they constantly restocked items. In the afternoon we enjoyed sitting on the veranda sipping our complimentary wine.Great hotel! We really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

.Great Stop Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside is beautiful, comfortable, and clean.

. From the quality of the rooms, a friendly accomodating staff and fine breakfast we were totally satisfied.Luxury at a Value Price We will definitely plan on a return stay.

. Price drop made it the best choice in the area. Only regret we couldn’t stay longer. Breakfast was delicious.Adorable Nicely remodeled, with full amenities.

Good food and good beer!. Travelers tip on dining If you like beer, check out the local brewery Palisade Brewery.Great Place We stayed only one night, but the place surpassed our expectations by far for the price.

. Travelers tip on local attractions Make sure to hit all the wineries along the way! Plum Creek was by far our favorite. I’d recommend this to anyone traveling through Colo Wine Country or just passing through. Granted the hotel is new, but the rooms were great as well as the staff and surroundings.Excellent Getaway in Wine Country What a great hotel - beautiful views of a surrounding vineyard.
