George and when we drove through some of the older parts we were even more thankful we stayed here!. This hotel was in the newer area of St. The carpet was a little dirty, but everything else was great. The room was very large and was able to accommodate a large family.Great Hotel The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Some people are very territorial!) Nevertheless, the Wingate made for a pleasant stay. One suggestion-perhaps a polite sign in the breakfast area: "Please allow guests who are not waiting for the waffle machine to go ahead of the waffle line. The breakfast is generous and tasty. In addition, the rooms are LARGE with modern tasteful decor. The community areas and rooms were new and scrupulously clean.Will definitely revisit The Wingate had all of the pluses that I appreciate: courteous friendly front desk people (your first impression!), small refrigerator, microwave oven, and coffeemaker.

About 100 feet away from the hotel there is a small shopping center with a unique and very appealing court yard, a nice place to relax on a balmy evening.One night review Based on a one night stay on our way back from Shelley Idaho this hotel was excellent! The attendants were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and located far enough from away from I15 so that we were not bothered by the traffic noise yet we were close enough to walk to shopping and dining.

. We look forward to staying there again. This was even after a 3 day holiday. Easy access to the pool with a nice stack of pool towels available. Down comforter with extra pillows. The room was beautiful! Brand new flat screen TV. The front desk agent was very helpful with places to dine, how to access the pool, etc.Best stay our whole vacation We were ending our three week vacation when we stayed at this hotel.

Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Remember to be VERY specific about any special accommodations you’ve previously made...obviously not to them...especially on a night as important as ours was, at least to us...however, we’d appreciate it if in the future, they’d remember and keep their word about honoring special accommodations...but as we were very exhausted, we didn’t bother going back down and arguing with them...very dissappointing...well, we got to the room, exhausted and worn out from a long drive from Provo, UT, only to find that this was NOT the room we’d requested and paid an extra surcharge for, no jacuzzi... She said that was fine, and apparently upgraded us. We got in rather late, due to wedding madness, as most weddings are, and I went as far as to remind the lady at the front desk of our special arranged upgraded room. They had said that was fine, and they had us down for it. We had called earlier, and as it was a wedding night, had asked for something special, a room with a jacuzzi, etc.Didn’t honor request as promised This is a nicer hotel, and the price is reflective of that.

. All in all, a good comfortable stay. George! Im not sure what was going on this weekend (besides the Parade of Homes) but there were lots of families with lots of kids, which meant a long line for the free breakfast buffet in the morning. Great room for a romantic getaway to warm St.New, Nice, Comfortable Hotel Our stay was in the King Executive Suite, which includes a kitchenette and a large jacuzzi tub.
