I went to the Hershey Hotel for a "spa day"; you must visit! The White Rose Bar and Grill in downtown York is a great place to dine: great food, great drinks, great atmosphere!. Travelers tip on local attractions Hershey is less than an hour away. I will definitely stay here if I return to this area again.amazing! The staff were courteous and efficient....... The bathroom was roomy and the shower head. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable.Fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

Yes, they have Waffles! *Convenient (although relatively small)exerciseroom.

. The kids enjoyed the pool (it was a little stuffy in there and the chlorine smell was very over powering). The rooms were clean and nice, shower was fantastic. The deluxe continental breakfast was very good.Would stay again From check in to check out our stay was great.

York is overrated as a community. nothing special.Very average Very average.

. Other than, that, very nice facilities. didnt change it. It was hot, and changing the temp. Thermostat was stuck or something. Our stay was nice except for the AC not working correctly. Had to drive 2 to 3 miles out of the road, to get back to the access road to the hotel. Access to the hotel was very difficult, being the roads around, were one ways, with median teers. Not alot of complaints.Nice facilities, tough to access Well, Cant talk to badly, because after figuring out how to get to the hotel, it was nice.

Personel seemed not very knowledgable about the areas attractionns and we overheard staff speking negatively about other guests when they were just out of hearing range, but others could hear. The pool was cold,the hot tub barely luke warm (though much warmer water came readily from both the sinks and showers).Not the Greatest The hotel was clean & neat & the rooms were stylish, but the sevice was not at the standard we had come to expect with this chain.

They solved the problem quickly and painlessly. After an initial problem at check-in, everything was resolved by a very good staff.I’d stay there again.

Travelers tip on recreational activities Good place to stage from to see Hershey USA, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and various kid and dad friendly tours (potato chip factory, pretzel factory, Harley-Davidson factory). Not a good impression after a sweaty day at the amusement park. Cleaning staff failed to clean our room one day. Indoor swimming pool was to cold to swim in. CONS: Hotel is oddly located, we made lot of u-turns to get to the hotel. Genuinely concerned about our vacation. Familiar with tthe area. Recommended good places to eat. Helped us find the hotel as we were driving along. PROS: Staff was very freindly.Functional without the glam Hotel was adequate.

. Garmins and Mapquest sometimes gets confused by the new address and because of this you are guided downtown to a less than desireable part of York. Newly built late last year.Very nice hotel Just be careful when you are traveling to this hotel.

. There was a large group of teens in for softball nationals and we really didn’t know they were there when we were in our room. Staff was very friendly, hotel was spotless, the included continental breakfast had a great number of choices, and the pool was impeccable (per my wife).Wonderful This hotel was one of the best that my wife and I have stayed in in quite a while.

. If you are traveling with babies, call with anticipation to the hotel to reserve a crib. Just one thing, the hotel is very short in cribs; the manager told me that they have just a few. Highly recommended!.Brand New I spent two nights at this newly completed hotel and I found it to be extremely clean, had great water pressure in the shower, and a nice free breakfast in the morning which helped me get to my meetings on time.
