. Travelers tip on dining The in-hotel restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The lobby personel were either uninformed or disinterested in helping with this problem. They were kind enough to allow an early checkin and store our luggage the next day until our flight time, but we had difficulty making contact with the person who arranges the New York tours because he is also the shuttle driver and gone most of the time.Lobby staff needs more training We liked the hotel rooms, restaurant, cleanliness, and maintenance.

. Easy and inexpensive. Travelers tip on saving a few bucks We took the train from the Newark airport into NYC. Beware. Returning to the hotel on our last night, we got totally lost because of poor signage and road construction. We were very pleased with the decor of the room, the nice linens, the well appointed bathroom.Really Good Airport Hotel We spent our first and last nights of our trip at this hotel because of its proximity to the airport.

... There are so many forks, must be very careful when you drive. Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay This hotel used to be the Ramada Newark Airport and changed the name to Wyndham, so most GPS can not find the location if you search Wyndham, try Ramada... everything is ok except the location it is really hard to find the entrance I spent an hour driving around the airport and asked several people, every one told me the wrong way...OK.

. pleasant enough, not too noisy.Just fine good pizza from the hotel restaurant.

. It was safe and the kids had fun. Will come back for sure! Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay Use there free trans[portation service to and from the Airport, additionally with a family you can also get a connection into the city on the path train. The food & beverage service was also and excellent addition to my stay. Staff was very helpful, offer directions and tips for not paying extras to get to the city. This was a good deal , the place offered great service I enjoyed my stay you can’t beat the price for the location.

. Travelers tip on dining The hotel restaurant was fine, and moderately priced. The only negative thing was that my daughter found the bed too firm; I liked it fine. The room was comfortable and spacious.A very good value The park’n’fly option worked very well for us.

. I probably won’t stay there again. I asked for my room to be changed and i encountered the same problem. My only gripe was that the drop ceiling in the bathroom over the tub was loose.Good for the money The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

. It is etremely difficult not only getting there but also getting in and out of the hotel. If you have a car make sure you know how to get there. Travelers tip If you do not have a car you are stuck since there is no saide walk to anywhere. Restaurant is open very late which is excellet for late arrivals since there is no place to eat within walking distance. People who own restaurant are very nice. 5. Soda machine broken for days. 4.Fuse blew in workout room and was not fixed for many hours. 3. If you have to get ot the airport corssing over the many lanes is diffucult, especially with cars coming at extremely fast speeds. Fronts on very dangerous route. 2. Extremely difficuly to get to if coming from the south.Comments on Wyndham EWR 1.

Travelers tip The only negative is the motel is difficult to find if you are driving so make sure to call and get directions from the motel(GPS was not very helpful). They offered to let us change rooms, although we declined because of leaving early the next morning, and it was already rather late. The last night we were there the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly.Enjoyed our stay We were treated very kindly and the staff was very helpful.

. We were very pleased with our stay. Was a very good hotel for the price.Very good quality for price.

. A very quiet place for a night of rest. Convenience, good price, and great amenities. Travelers tip for business travelers Great hotel to stay at if just over night at the Newark Airport. Very convenient and very nice. Such great access to the Newark Airport with a shuttle every 20 minutes that takes one directly to the airtrain. The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, the service was horrible and the food mediocre, but the people in the bar seemed to be having a grand time! One can order their meal in the bar and watch the TV monitors while they eat- we should have done that. Nice upgraded accessories throughout the room. Lots of pillows and comfortable beds, decent sized bathroom and very well furnished. The rooms are very nice and equipped with all the luxuries one would need.Great Hotel and easy accessibility to Newark Airport Hotel does not look very nice from the outside but the inside is nice.

It was fine because it was close to the airport and that is what we were looing for We came in late and it would have been nice to have a resturant open so we could get a little something.

. But the room was nice and the front desk staff, friendly. My only complaint was the length of time it took to get from the airport to the hotel.Good Value I was lucky and able to get a great rate on a room at the last minute for a short overnight, since my flight was at 6 am from the airport.

. But worth the hassle of not driving in NY. The train cost us about $36 each way (2 adults & 2 kids). Travelers tip on local attractions Use the free hotel shuttle to take you to airport and take the train it is less hassle than taking your car into NY and if it is your last day and you are going to NY just get your ticket stamped your car will be safe in the secured parking just take the shuttle back from the airport. Only true complaint is location, it is right off the expressway and people are speeding by very fast, had hard time turning onto the road, woud stay there again if I got a better price. It was a fun experience but on the way back everyone wa waiting for this hotel shuttle and it got packed right away (it was by no means a small van, it was more like a large airport shuttle, short of a bus) guess this was a popular hotel. receptionist was very nice and gave us very good advice about taking their free shuttler to airport and taking the train from there into New York. restruant seemed very over prices for what they were offering and not places close to walk to to eat. They have a small landry room but it did the job to save me money on cleans our clothes. Some housekeeping staff were hard to understand. rooms did not have microwayes or small fridges (my fault for not looking into the amenities). Stayed with kids also.It was Ok to nice Hotel itself had very nice rooms.

Not very impressed! Travelers tip on getting the most out of your stay If going to NYC, better off paying more and staying in Manhattan, train to Manhattan will cost $15 a person and will take you basically an hour to get there.Meh Thank goodness they poored a lot of money into this place as I’d hate to have seen it before the remodel! Rooms are fairly nice, but when we were there, the A/C was broken in the main/public areas.

. The used the complementary shuttle to the airport that is a big plus.Just one night stand We had an early flight so we only stayed for a few hours.

. I would recommend this hotel. The service was very friendly as well. It served the purpose and I’m sure it would of done more If I was able to stay longer. The room was very clean and comfy.Quite Impressed Although I got stay only one night but one night was good enough.

. Hotel is close to everything. Travelers tip on shopping Jersey Garden Mall is about 8 minutes away. The only thing I didn’t like was that there was a fee for internet.Good hotel for the price They offer park and ride with the shuttle across the street to Newark Airport which is very convenient.

not this one!...! Travelers tip Try Holiday Inn or any other hotel nearby .p.a.s. Could n’t wait to get out of the place a. A few room lights did not work. Vending machine was out of order - ate my money, which was then reimbursed by the hotel upon my protest.Horrible Hell Hole! Terrible front desk staff! Room keys did not work and needed to be changed more than twice.

.We enjoyed it very much After a long flight we needed a relaxing place and we could not ask for more.

btw, whattup with Newark’s insanely bumpy roads and crazy freeway system? Someone skimming the road fund?... However, getting up in the morning and just walking around the corner to pick up our rental car made the whole leave-Newark-behind process as efficient as it gets.so beware... We got to Newark around midnight and getting the hotel shuttle to come pick us up involved two calls, a language barrier, and an hour and a half. We just lucked into it because they were both priced right.Hotel and rental car at same location! The best part about the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Newark is the fact that Payless car rental is in the same building.

. the room was great, clean and spacious.Great stay This was a great stay.

. Overall is was ok to stay for the price and a short stay. They have a bar that was nice. The pool was small but nice and the resturant in the hotel was unempressive. The place was clean and close to new york.Ok for a short stay It served it’s purpose for a place to stay for me and my to tween sons.

Very pleased will go again Very relaxing accomodating for the sociable and private person.

.Convenient, but not the most comfortable bed The price was right and the location was good, but after a long day, a softer bed would have been nice.
